  1. Maybe you could talk to your brother and metion it to him.
  2. Is Townsend going to be able to dress out tonight and stand on the sidelines? Maybe he could go out for the coin toss. Bring us some good luck!
  3. CREEKBANK, I know Scores may not indicate anything but Hampton beat Unaka 47-0 and Temple beat them 33-0 so I believe YOu guys can beat them. Good Luck From HHS!
  4. Harriman may win but there is no way they put up 41. Our defense is giving up only 10.3 pts. per game with most of those coming against the second string. No one has run consistantly on us all year. Our team probably has 20 ints for the year too. With 5 or 6 returned for TD's. If our offense can score 25 or more I believe we win.
  5. Looks like perfect weather for football tonight. I believe the dogs are begining to click after the loss of townsend and the line is blocking well instead of relying on the backs to make them look good. Our passing game is looking great. I hope we can pull it off tonight. If they can cut out the turn overs and penalties, I feel like we can win. The defense will have to contain, contain, contain. I have great confidense that JC and company will have the correct schemes in place. We just have to execute. HEY PUJO! Has anyone broke any long plays on us this year? Bout the longest I remember seeing is maybe 25 yards. DOGS 28 HARRIMAN 14
  6. HAmpton over Harriman 34-24 Coalfield over Midway 21-14 Trousdale over Temple 36-32 Friendship over Gordonsville 28-17 Quarters Hampton over Coalfield 36-18 Trousdale over Friendship 28-12 Semis Hampton over Trousdale 21-17 Don't know anythind about west Tennessee so I won't make any predictions. I just know the east usually wins.
  7. WES, you trying to fire up the boys again this week? I saw were you picked Harriman because HHS would be over-confident. Have you seen any practicess this week? If so how are they preparing for the speed of harriman?
  8. How does Hampton plan on containing Harriman's speed? I know we have a speedy secondary with lyons, jaynes, newburn, lunceford, and milhorn. I believe our defensive ends have to get up field and stay in their lanes to help contain goins. I don't see him really killing us as long as he is a pocket passer. I will say that Harriman will not rush for more than 150 on Hampton. If they keep goins contained they will not rush for over 100.
  9. Thanks Punisher! Do you think Hampton can run the ball on them?
  10. Punisher, you know both teams pretty well how about giving us your opinion on how they stack up with each other.
  11. Everyone coming to the game had better bundle up. Temperature in the 20's. Hampton's kind of weather. They love cold weather. Does Oneida use the pass a lot? If so cold weather could hinder it a little. If they have to run the ball all night, it might be a long night for them. No one has been able to run consistantly on Hampton all year.

  13. You have done been there tried that. Didn't happen. 28-21. And that was when 3 of those linemen were injured.
  14. I don't think Oneida has seen a line as big and strong as HHS's. Just ask coalfield or Harriman from last year. Hampton has just about all of thier lineman back including junior 1a prospect Steven Roop (6'7" 320). Their line is bigger and stronger than last year's. HHS also has a college prospect at WR Johnathan Lyons. I don't know anything about Oneida but I don't think they have seen a line this size this year. The only problem I have seen with the line is not blocking their assignments. they do not use their brains a lot. They had not really had to block until Adam got hurt. All they had to do was take up space and occupy people. Now they have to move people and blow them off the ball which they are not used to doing but I have a feling they will be ready Fri.
  15. Can anyone tell me how this week of practice has been going for Hampton? How does Oneida's line and secondary stack up against Hampton's line and WRs?
  16. Adam told me he could be back by the third round if they make it.
  17. I have heard that a lot of bulldog players need to develope a little toughness. Get a hangnail and have to sit out 2 weeks. If this is true they will not make it past the 1st round. I never thought HHS would have this problem. And the bad thing is there is nothing coaches can do about toughness. They have the talent, but the want-to, heart , or whatever you want to call it isn't there. I know some players read these boards maybe someone questioning their manhood will light a fire under them
  18. With Townsend Hampton would have had a eassier time to round 4 this year than last. They can still make it but it will be a little tougher.
  19. I know Unaka has alot returning, however, This could be one of the toughest districts in the state. Any of 4 teams could win it. I believe Hampton has the upper hand. The return 2 players in the post both of which can drop step and throw it down. they also return Mike Lunceford as 2 guard and milhorn at point. As well as bobBY james. Once the football players return and they get their rythem they will be tough to beat. They will need someone to step up from the bench to be the 6th and 7th men. The loss of Michael Guy hurt.
  20. Unaka 28 Clouland 24 This will be Unaka's last chance to beat Cloudland for a while. Hampton 48 CD 6 Rest the starters for the playoff push. Team comes together after losing Townsend Happy Valley 28 SG 14 Happy Valley is begining to play better. More experience. Sullivan East 14 Elizabethton 35 Betsy wins one. The athletes are there just need to get it together.
  21. when will Adam have the resuls of his MRI?
  22. Unless University high had some good transfers, ther is no way they make it. They will be a one man team with woodacre. He is probably the best player in 1a this side of knoxville, but he can't do it alone. Hampton returns nearly everyone from a substate team last year. Cloudland also returns most of their starters as does Unaka. Any of these teams could finish 1 through 4. But I can't see UH winning this conference. They can not win the big games.
  23. Neither team has really played anyone aside from Hampton playing Johnson County and an improved Unicoi team. Just food for thought: Teams Cosby played West Greene 0-6 North Greene 2-4 beat Grace and WG Cloudland 2-4 beat WG and NG Oakdale 0-6 Jellico 1-5 beat Oakdale Chucky Doak 0-6 Unaka 3-3 beat Chucky D., Grace, and Hurley Va. TOTAL 8-34 Teams Hampton Played Johnson County 5-1 Jellico 1-5 beat Oakdale Unicoi 2-4 beat Elizabethton and (not sure) West Green 0-6 Grace 2-5 TOTAL 13-24
