i can understand minor throwing 88 from lack of rest. im sure uring the regular season he was around 89-91. that being said ive seen him pitch a few times in different scenarios and he has never once touched 97. maybe 93-94 but never 97. his fastball isnt the key though, its his location, changeup, and slider. great season forrest and mckenzie and conrats to the rebels on winning it all.

all i know is what the scoreboard said and thats anderson county won 9-5 i think. it stinks to see harpeth 2 and done. they had a ver tough first game though and that set them back. 2 state tourney appearances in 2 years is impressive though and im sure they will make it 3 for 3 next year. but my hats off to u guys, great season.

Lexington is not even that good.

ravenwood is BAD. matt kole is a monster, pj francescon is a stud, and everyone else can hold their own with anybody. itd be pretty nice to see ravenwood pull the ole baseball and football state titles in the same year.

i would like to second that. from one 11AA to another congrats harpeth. ever since u have put sycamore out i have been pulling for u and u guys have showed up and play some good ball. if u get it up u will bring that championship to cheatham county.

is the spring fling in murfreesboro or memphis? im liking harpeth in a nail biter.

hey baseball01, whens the next JSS game?.....o wait there isnt one. the funny thing is u said JSS was playing great and they STILL lost so harpeth must be amazingly good. they r going to substate. u have fun at home. that beating monday was almost as good as that loss sycamore handed JSS in the first round of the playoffs a couple years ago. i think u all remember that, one of the biggest chokes in high school football history

alright first of all someone already said minor is pitching. secondly, im sure they would have thrown in tonight(a must win) and have him back for friday(another must win). thirdly, this game could get very ugly.

south side easily wins? montgomery central beat u and harpeth is alot better than central. your 2 guys have combined for 10 homers, wow. harpeths team has combined for 40ish home runs, on a big field. their line up is full of disciplined hitters, most of whom have alot of power. their pitchers will shut u down, especially catfish. just hope to not get run ruled.

um i dont know if im the only one who noticed this but he was saying the tournament format stunk, not this forum. so i dont think he should go to a different format, maybe FORUM.

well i figured that ball wasnt knocked lose. that harpeth catcher is a STUD, in more ways than one. but thats what he was trying to do.

i would have rather not played the extra game than get the embarrassing creek wood will get tomorrow. and no tiger63, sycamore baseballs career isnt over. he will have the longest, most successful career of any senior in this district.

running over a player to knock the ball lose is illegal and grounds for an ejection. aka THIEL BEING EJECTED AGAINST HARPETH for doing that.

i wouldnt call cheatham sycamore a rivalry. sycamore has killed them every year but 2. maybe when cheatham gets good and wins a few more it can be considered a rivalry.

i might make the trip up there with sycamore baseball. im sure there will be a few sycamore players and sycamore coachters there.

is this thread serious? east couldnt hit sycamores #3 pitcher so how in the world are they going to hit minor? u guys r playing good ball right now but minor is an all american. im calling a no hitter.
