The Jeff. Co. Patriots have come out on top this year w/ the opening of the red jersey's w/ the silver pants, and their new blue uni's. The red and navy tops look like the Ole Miss jerseys. I just wish Scott would let them wear the red w/ the navy pants. The names on the back of the uniform has gotten more popular as the years have gone by, but i still like professional style it brings to these kids who are preparing and playing the game almost year round w/ spring, fall, winter workouts, summer workouts and practice. Science hill needs to get a different shade of yellow cause they're starting to look like Oregon's ugly ### yellow uniforms. Why everyone downing the purple and black? Just b/c they can't score doesn't mean that purple is a bad color choice. It takes balls to wear purple, except for the fact that the only good team at that school is the Girl's Basketball Team

I'm going to add my 2 cents in on this topic. I've watched some pretty good football teams in the last couple years. If a team has a big, fast wide out and a quarterback that can throw the ball 40 yards in the air on any given situation, I'm going to take that team and force people to cover my wideout and then stuff it to them w/ the run. My prediction for every team that wins the state is that they will have a qb that can throw it and a wr that can make the big plays.

it doesnt matter who was playin. tssaa overturned the ejection because there wasnt a punch thrown so there wasnt any use in ejecting any of them.

well at jeff co. it wouldn't be all bad b/c we know which song they are going to play every single time. i would think that they could get that right but it doesn't even sound that good.

The track use to be open back in the day. I don't understand why they took it away it would get rid of all the middle school kids who come to the games and take up room on the far side that adults could use. Those kids don't watch a lick of the games but rather they make out or do stupid stuff like throw food. If i was a DB fan i would get there early and take those seats which aren't bad at all. maybe you should practice more than 3 times week better yet maybe you should practice 7 times a week and not show up for the games on friday nights if your going to play while our team has the ball so signal caller parker clement has to burn a timeout b/c yall are playing. the best time for yall to make noise is when we're on defense and when the ball is right in front of you b/c everyone knows you can't hear you when the ball is down near the swiming pool end.

2 sides of the ball huh? wow thats great but i don't think he'll last b/c we will be pounding the ball on the ground and fatigue will set in on your great 2 way players that yall have. the pats like to run the misdirection and with the speed we have your 2 way players will be looking at the names on the back of the shirts and will be so tired that they can't go back and play the o side of the ball so much for that great theory HOOK'EM PATS

I've driven by the school when yall are having one of your BIG competitions, i've seen more fans at a high school golf match than the fans there to watch yall. There is no way that you can tell me that the band riles the student section when yall play go atleast 50 times in the first quarter. i'm about to moon the entire band and cheek mr. rogers if yall play that dang song more than one a quarter. its rediculus. ya'll have an entire class for band, the entire summer to practice and before the games start i think yall could atleast come up w/ more than 1 or 2 songs to play in a game. and get a new halftime routine. i believe at the campbell county game we actually got yall excited and then guess what we left yall out to dry b/c once couch left yall stink hra drowns yall out and no one would miss hearing the same song fracked up 50 times a quarter. i could play my kazoo a million times better

[1. The only time a bad gets recognition is if they are DANG GOOD. No one in their right mind ever pays $5 to come to half a football game and listen to a bunch of geeks tute a horn or bang on a drum and sound like they just picked up and interstrument. all i know that at JCHS we treat the band members like crap b/c they play like that. i know of some people who actually like going to the db and science hill games b/c they actually have a band worth listening too. I'm sorry but the band is 5th fiddle to the teams, student sections, fans, and cheerleaders]

The only reason people come out w/ polls and crap like that is to set up media up play for "upsets". In high school sports it doesn't matter what you're ranked in the AP poll or fan poll or mama's boy polls or whatever poll they come out with next it just matters if you when the "big" games or the state championship. Lets see last year i believe DB didn't win the show or the year before that they didn't win it all so you can take your 11-0 record against the pats and stuff it b/c you can't talk s_ _ _ until you have that trophy or ring on your finger and we'll be bling blinging in november. thats the fact. i tell you what? jeff. co. has 2 of the top 5 running backs in Jeff Jennings and Scooter Houston, knox central has 1 of the top 5 in the Jackson kid and keep your eyes and hears open for 2 more from jeff. co. in the upcoming years by the name of Carson and Shiverdecker. The stands are going to packed friday night. JCHS's student section has lost a member due to an unfortunate mishap of being in the wrong spotlight at the wrong time. we will miss you Mr. J. Farris. our boys are pumped about this game and i don't care if the AP Polls say DB is #1 in the nation Jeff. Co. is going to be ready to run out onto a REAL football field @ Leroy Shannon and play for 60 minutes. W/ Reliford and Vickers and Jennings,all hard hitters, on the field its going to be tough for the DB offense to move. We didn't allow a 1st down in the first half against west and i don't see a lot coming to db for the entire game. if and only if you somehow get close you better capatalize. We put our heart and soul into what we do- if football players don't like it, I'm sorry. Now I will give you that the DB band is much much larger. That's one thing we cannot help. But our band sounds good this year in Jeff. County. See, we seniors are determined to take it to the top. So yeah, you brag on your band all you want, DB- but our band has more spirit than DB's own football players. JCHS football players-we're behind you all the way... and, yes, we drum majors are trying to do something about the repetitive music (sorry, Mr. Rogers has control of that one!!) All I have to say to the indians when they step foot off the bus in the Valley they better be ready to strap in b/c its going to be loud, packed, and crrrrrazy. THE SKWERL will be leading the HRA this week and its going to be loud. Our student section has been fortunate to learn from the best of the best between the fat rabbit to Catfish. Jeff co. is probably one of the best places to be on Friday nights especially in east tn. and about the comment about being 13-0 and not winning the big one, that's the whole point of playing is winning the big one. i could careless if my team goes 8-2 in the regular season, but if they win the championship no one will ever talk about them losing those 2 games. I don't know about best away place, but when Jefferson Co. goes to MORRISTOWN EAST to play Morristown West it felt like a home game because there was no true home team and we took over that field just like we did last year when we destroyed East in the first game of our new Wing-T offense.
