An example is Alcoa, they have to play their Blount Co. schedule which leaves little space for other games. If they were to drop those and play say Vonore, Midway, or Rockwood they would be losing a county game which makes lots of money for one that may or may not. I am all for seeding, but the teams do need to make money.

I hope you are right on those predictions. The tigers are definitely capable of beating Huntsville, but you never know which version of the Rockwood will show up. This should be a close game. What makes you think Fairview will knock off the home team?

At least you all have a system for seeding. The district in which Rockwood plays simply draws a number out of a hat to see who they play.

My fault! Just assumed. You know what happens when you do that. Alcoa has a good team. They beat the a good Rockwood team by 1 in the finals. I did not see the game but have been told that #23 is their best player, shoots the ball real well. Good defensive team, as well. Who do you support Regal, if you don't mind me asking. Are you from the Pigeon Forge area, if so, how are the teams up that way?

In girls action, upper brackett- O. S. plays Pittman Center; Alcoa plays Wearwood. Lower brackett L.C. plays Fairview in a play in game. Winner plays Catons Chapel; Rockwood plays Huntsville.

What do you think of the matchups in Pigeon Forge starting tomorrow Answer? I think the Rockwood boys will defeat the Onedia Indians. I'm going with Lenoir City girls over Fairview. O.S. girls shouldn't have any trouble with the 3rd seed they face. I've heard the teams up there are weak. The Rockwood - Huntsville girls game should be a good one also. I think the Lenior City boys will win over Wartburg as well.

I agree. They are backing up two other districts and causing many people to rework their schedule. I know it is a rule that they can't play, but it seems an exception could be made. What time are the games tomorrow Answer9??

What teams will be playing in the small school tournament at Norwood? Who are the favorites to win?

The tigers came away from Kingston with a big win. It got a little too close for comfort at the end, but RWood was able to hit their free throws and pull it off. Gallaher got a nice dunk.

Kingston does have a good freshman class, but O.S. has a good class too. Rockwood will be competitive with these teams in two years if the talent develops, that goes for all three school. Rockwood has a very good group of eighth graders, probably the best in the county if you go by head to head results, but it is hard to predict how the talent will develop, who will stick with basketball, coaching etc.

Rockwood has had a good middle school team the past two years and this year, but those athletes are only freshmen and sophomores. The class coming up will help next year, but it will still be about 2 years before they are competitive again. Look for the tigers to be at the top again then because there are some excellent athletes coming up along with the Kirkham girls and Springs. Every school has to rebuild, don't get down on them.

What about the girl's game?

Lighten up Joe, it was just joke. I'm sorry you didn't get it. There are lots of small schools that play big schools and if you start making all of those games at the large school's stadiums, then the small school would go bankrupt and be traveling the entire year. Deal with it, take some lawn chairs.

Joe we did FEEL the bleachers up. We don't do those kinds of things in public.

To compare O.S. - Midway to Ut -MTSU is ridiculous. Midway and Rockwood play in week one every year and the visitor stands at Rockwood are always filled. When Rockwood goes to Midway there is always room, and we bring alot of fans especially since it is the first game. I wouldn't count on it being that easy of a win because they give us a tough game every year.
