Me too Big Purple. Sharp has been around for years and so has his good teams. I'm tipping my hat to him as well. Props also to Johnnie Frost. He is one of the most underated coaches in the state. His record is lesser because he started a football program at a middle Tennessee school that had never fielded a team, then he went to a place that had lost for a long time. He has worked hard at Riverside, and doesn't get a lot of press this far out from the bright lights of Jackson and Nashville. But he gets a lot of respect from the coaches he goes against, and that is some of the best praise. Sometimes they don't even put our scores up on Jackson and Nashville sports news shows, but that's o.k. People who know high school football know Riverside is a quality football school. Looking forward to seeing Coaches Sharp, White, and Yeisler too.

A couple of years ago, Riverside was playing Peabody in the semi-final at Riverside's swamp. Several Lewis Co. fans came over and cheered like heck for our boys. There were a couple of Lewis Co. loggers that just about got in a fight with a group from Peabody.

I think you are right. LC v. RHS is always a good battle and I don't see anything less this year. I hope ya'll bring a crowd. Our baseball team is having a chili supper in the jr. high lunchroom next to the field - $6. Get over here a little early and eat some chili while you are missing senior night activities.

I wasn't there but people say UC wasn't too impressive against Camden Central. Maybe they just had a bad night. Huntingdon by 24.

Huntingdon beating Peabody like that is a huge statement. They are going to be so tough in the playoffs. We knew that already but even more so now IMO.

This is the best product Frost has had on the field going into Nov., with the fewest injuries. And he has built some more depth.

Lewis Co. goes to RHS for the region championship. This one is for and by Lewis Co. and Riverside fans, and any others except one troll. If he/she tries to hijack this one, let's ignore it. I'm taking RHS at home for the region.

They lost by 2 pts to Peabody in one of the best games of the year. They have pretty much wiped out every other team they have played. This is the best Westview team in a long time.

Well Beagle, I'm guessing you to be the man who helps FM with the radio broadcast then. If so, you guys do a great job. I listened to the Camden-Riverside game on the radio and you two were all class on the game. Nothing wrong with being a transplant. We came to Camden in 1971 and people always acted like we had always lived here. I like McConnell and Wolfe too. I have worked with both in the past and I hope they stay at C-town for a long time. I think McConnell will win if left alone. And I think folks have enough football sense in Camden to know that.

They will keep plugging. It's sort of like TN Vols, the next man up. Thing about LC is they always have a stable full of boys ready to get better, ever since I can remember. I hope this is a good game. I have a huge respect for both Scotts Hill and Lewis. I know the AD at the Hill and he is going to do things the right way.

What's wrong with them double d? They have Covid over there or injuries? I hope neither but you say five are out, it must be for a reason.

Beagle, I'm still trying to figure out who you are. You are the only Camden fan who has posted across three head coaching changes. I've about got it narrowed down.

Hat's off to E. Hickman. Their comeback just fell short tonight. They are a much improved team. Hope to see them do well in the playoffs.

I'll be on Pun -give me a shout out. I've not had one on TNL yet. I'm saying RHS by 10. It's going to be tighter than people think.

Panthers don't need to let E. Hickman slip up on them. This could be a trap game. East gave the Panthers a pretty good game last year up there.

When I was still in the coaching world, I was an assistant at a rural high school with a record of losing for many years. We were 2-7 when we traveled to Lewis Co. for game 10 - they were 9-0. It was a cold night of about 21 degrees with a strong wind out of the north. Lewis Co. defeated us 52-0, but it could have been 100-0. When the game was over, Coach Sharp ordered the concession stand to stay open and fed our boys and parents - gave them gallons of hot chocolate/coffee. He didn't have to do this. He did this because he cares about kids. Anybody who coaches in today's world has to care about kids, but that guy is special. He has class when he defeats you 50-0 and he has class when you knock his team out of the playoffs. I've seen both sides of him over the past 25 years and he hasn't changed. That's all I have to say about Sharp and the Lewis Co. program. They have good reasons to be proud over there, proud of their coach and the program he has built.

You are indeed sir. You are one of the best internet coaches in the league. You boys keep Swenson in line over there.
