As long as this region is together, it will always be between Adamsville-Riverside-Lewis (no certain order) for home field, and the other 3 will fight it out, or back into 4th place. Not much has changed in this region except that southern firepower known as the Cardinals. They will be a force, and it will be easier for them to place 1-2 than it was for them in region 7. Also, Lewis Co. has a lot back from last year, so it will be interesting. Go Panthers!

The only thing I worry about is the lower the numbers, the more squeeze on parents from town wanting their kids to play. More pressure on the coaches.............

I'm looking for a rise in Scotts Hill stock as their school population continues to grow with spillover from Lexington, plus growth in Henderson Co. in general. By the time they have to move up to 3A they will be surprising some people.

Riverside took a heavy graduation hit but they will still play some good ball. Frostie and staff will have them ready for the playoffs. They might upset somebody.

Riverside needs a week 10 away game 2A, 3A, or 4A. Have crowd, will travel.

You just deliver those packages there Mo. I think Big Pun has ordered a few boxes for a Riverside Christmas!

Waverly tends to get better and better as the game goes on. You defending champs gonna be sweating in the fourth quarter. If Mc Town took you into overtime, Wavo can surely knock you off. All respects to a great Tide team, but Wavo is rocking this year.

Come on Wavo, rep region 6 in Cookeville. Tee off on Peabody like you did on us. I know you got it in you. I've seen you play too much.

I am pretty sure we won't see Waverly for awhile. Huntingdon will be added for a non-region game. Congrats to AT on Military Player of the Week. He is a fine young man.

Makes me feel a little better. Wavo put it on my boys the other night. The last time that happened they came right back around. I hope they can rebound this week.

Right now Ctown just needs a good showing in the playoffs, moving towards next year. By next fall, if things are getting back to normal, and Matt should have his system and culture in place. I look for 5-5 to 6-4 next year depending on the schedule. Camden's moving in the right direction.

Which way Vandy?

Camden is the West TN school with the most consecutive playoff appearances. Last time they didn't make it was 2002.

It might be arranged. Frostie likes to play bigger schools in his non-region games. We usually play Camden Central and always play Lexington. Riverside-Lexington is sort of like the Adamsville-Hardin Co. game. Both schools pack each other's gates, and several of the boys know each other.
