Jeff Jennings for Jefferson County is great on both sides of the ball. He's already signed with Vandy for Defense and he gets close to 150 yards a game having to split the carries with the other awesome player from Jefferson County, Scooter Houston. Anyway... Jeff runs over other players... he's just a great player!!!

I agree with "greatest" about Ooltewah.... JC played them last year in the playoffs... ya know during that monsoon... anyway the Ooltewah fans and "refs" didn't make much more noise than a murmuring crowd. I was not impressed by any means. Our fans came from 2 hours away and had as many if not more than Ooltewah... and there is no doubt that our fans make much more noise!!! Check your facts Ooltewah before you start saying your the best! Other than that.. I'm really not sure who is the best.. I think all teams have their good games.

I think that DB and Science Hill are both very difficult places to win at.... mainly DB though. However, it is possible...

I must say it was quite a game... I was proud of the way the Pats performed through MOST of the game but they have got to learn to put 4 quarters together. DB offense sputtered at first but then was able to get the passing game going and run here and there. I agree with Lawyer when he said that the personal foul on Brown in the 1st quarter really changed the way he played after that. Granted, Lamon Williams is an awesome player, but I think Brown would have covered him better had he not had the call against him. Both teams had too many penalties... especially DB..over 115 yards... Jefferson County's penalties really hurt them because they got them at key moments. They have to learn how to not make mistakes at key times. I think these two titans will meet again in the playoffs... perhaps the outcome will be different then.

The way I see it is that Quarles produces strong team after strong team after strong team... never having an off-year down there in maryville and mo west hasn't improved from last year. I think it will be a slow-starting game but maryville ends up winning by 21.

Well you know what the past means to the present in football..... NOTHING!!!!! I doesn't matter who beat who or got smashed or tripped on their shoelaces for the past 25 years All that matters is what goes on this friday night at Leroy Shannon field.... Of course, DB hasn't played JC at home since Mr Scott Meadows became head coach. Quite a different crowd. I know.. I was there... I experienced every bit of it. I know that Jefferson County is capable of 10 times more than you give them credit for. The game will tell the story not the stories of the past.

Well in light of the news that scooter and carson will be playing this friday night, I will have to say that JC will win this close game. The backfield will be strong as usual plus a little extra incentive from the grudge that Scooter and Carson will have on their shoulders for the falsifications made against them. They will be wanting to send a message. The defense is stronger than it has been in years going against an unexperienced QB for Kingsport. Kingsport is a good team... I will give them that. but I think that the Pats will bring more to the table than the boys from DB. Regardless, it will be a great game.
