This will undoubtably be the game of the year. But I'm going to go on a limb and say that Westview shocks the 2A world with a 28-7 victory.

Westview in the 60's went undefeated for 4 yrs so I'd have to say that they're one of the more dominant teams as well.

Height wise they have no one over 6'0. Latoya bellamy,Leigh Ricketts, and Sheena pitcher are the tallest players and they all stand about 5'9 or 5'10.But don't let their height fool you.

don't know how dudley doesn't make this list as she is better than bellamy and thomas and as good as brown 825591144[/snapback] There has been several games when Dudley was locked down and almost held scoreless. Bellamy and Thomas found ways to score even when they had good defenders they were able to come through for their teams. Thats what separates good players from great players. All the young ladies that were chosen as Ms.Basketball candidates are great players.

I think that if you can get quality playing time averaging about 20 points a game being a freshman and playing on the same team as Kendell Cavin (former Miss Basketball) and having many other great players on the team as well, then you're worthy of being a Miss Basketball candidate. All players are extremely gifted, as I have seen each player play. However I feel that Bellamy would be the best candidate.

However Westview is still ranked #1 in the state so it really doesn't matter if they lost the district championship. And on top of that Westview actually has a shot at winning the state title. Jax N has NO CHANCE! Theres NO WAY they will get past Mt. Juliet. So enjoy watching Northside play while you still can because they won't be playing basketball for much longer. WesCharge I have to agree with you for several reasons. This is the time where Gibson Co. cranks it up. Obion Central usually doesn't do too well once tourney time comes. But perhaps I'm wrong this time. Maybe this is the year Obion comes out on top. However I doubt it. I'm going with WesCharge's prediction.

I honestly believe that Westview will be there and that they will win it all. They play one of the toughest schedules in the state and they're still ranked at #1. They've been able to do some amazing things this year. They always play as a team and never as individuals. It'll be interesting to see how things go in the tournys.

Westview always seems to come alive during this time of the year. They'll do well in district and region. I don't things will be too different from the way they've been in years past. With Westview and Gibson advancing on to the state tourny.

Unfortunately he doesn't get out much. At least not out of West Tennessee anyway. He prefers to watch the better girls basketball teams in the state. j/k thumb

Considering the fact that a couple of years ago Westview had to ride the wings of Kendall Cavin a couple of games I think that it can be done. Brandi Brown is the kind of player that makes everyone around her better.Just her presence on the court along does that. It'll be interesting to see how they do the next couple of games.

This is the year they make it out of the region along with Westview. I don't see them winning it all this year however in a few yrs they'll be there. This is Westview's year. And since they only lose one senior this year chances are next year will belong to the lady chargers as well.

No the gold ball will not go through 7AA. It'll go through 13AA. Westview is the most likely candidate for that.But Gibson or Obion could still win it.
