The field is in really bad condition. Friday night it was atrocious. I think its supposed to rain thursday and friday so the field will be in even worse shape than it was this past friday night. However I don't think it'll stop the chargers from putting those points on the board.

Great post redbirdfan. I couldn't agree with you more. Westview has been playing extremely well. It's no secret why either. The key to all the charger victories is teamwork. They work well together as a team. Markei is an outstanding player however without blockers, he'd just be a another player out there in a blue and gold jersey getting pounded. So you have to give some credit to the offensive line. I don't expect this game to be as close as most people do. I look for it to be a good game but just not as close as most people think. I'm going to go with 38-20 as well with the Chargers of Westview coming out on top.

I look for Camden to win over Lewis Co. this year. I also look for Mckenzie to come out on top. I haven't seen Mckenzie play a good game. I've HEARD that despite their record they are a very high quality football team. (I was at the Westview/Mckenzie game and that was'nt a high quality high school team.) I wish all teams luck and I especially wish luck to Camden and Mckenzie.

Thats right. We have a lot of capable receivers and other players. Brannen Bishop is a very good receiver and he does a lot on offense and defense. Josh Williams runs the ball very well. He's big and hard to bring down. Michael Hobock is the same way. Very strong. So Markei is not the only good player that Westview has. I think when people realize how good Markei is, and begin to catch on to his game then you'll really get to see ALL the other weapons start to factor in.

dms,could you tell Coach Taylor that we think about him everyday and we (especially the seniors) miss him a lot. We thank you so much for protecting this great country that we live in. We appreciate you guys more than you'll ever know. As far as things in Westview goes, the football team is great this year. They're playing with a lot of heart and getting things done. Last friday night they one first place in region. This friday we have our 1st playoff game at home against Memphis Manassas. The chargers are expected to win easily. The band is also doing good. They've gotten 1st place at 4 competitions and they've gotten 2nd place at the other two. Last week they ended their season by bringing home 8 trophies. THANKS TO THE ARMED FORCES FOR PROTECTING OUR GREAT COUNTRY.

We were the same. I said 42-7 and they won 42-6 which equals a 35 point margin.Great prediction.

I used to respect alot of your posts but here lately you've been pretty ridiculous. UNLIKE MILAN, Westview has been pretty consistent since they lost to Milan. I think that the Chargers will continue to roll. Westview is a much better team than Milan and at home, the Chargers are very tough. I think they'll roll all the way to state. Good luck chargers.

Thats great. I would'nt worry about him though. They'll get theres when they play Mitchell. And if they happen to get past Mitchell then I'm sure the Chargers would love nothing more than to get revenge for the 14-12 loss to the bulldogs earlier in the season. But back to the topic at hand. Westview should win this one without using much effort. Manassas is not a really good team. I don't see the chargers having problems. I say the chargers come out on top 50-7.

I don't see Huntingdon having any problems with loretto. They should roll on through. However this has been a year full of upsets. I say Huntingdon wins big 42-7.

I see no reason why Milan can't go to Memphis. Westview played George Washington Carver in Memphis a couple of years ago and it was no problem. There wasn't anything that happened that shouldn't have happened. Security was fine and all went well. I wouldn't worry about where the game is being played. I'd be concerned about making sure we brought our "A" game.

I'm hoping that Milan wins this game because I would love to see a Westview/Milan rematch. However Milan has to get out of this little slump that they are going through. Mitchell is a very good football team and if Milan enters this game with anything other than their best it'll be a long quiet bus ride back to Bulldog territory.

I definitely agree. I'm used to a Mckenzie team that has a 9-0 record. This year I haven't been too impressed with the rebels. Especially after the performance( if thats what you want to call it.) they showed us friday night...however on the positive side of the situation, Westview was down last year and look what they've accomplished this season. Mckenzie is just in the rebuilding stage. So Rebel fans be patient because one day soon the rebels will be back on top.

Darkglow, you're right. Perhaps I was a bit outta line with the not in a million years part. I kinda forgot where we were. In this part of tn nothing is certain. I honestly think that Westview and Huntingdon are the best teams in West tn. I would love to see the chargers come out on top but with Huntingdon being so good and full of suprises I can't tell which way this game will go if it happens. However I'm not really concerned with that at this point. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Huntingdon wins easy? Riiight. Not in a million yrs. They'll be lucky if they even beat Westview the second time. Westview has played the best football of any team in west tn for the past 7 weeks and it will continue. These boys play with heart. They don't depend on one guy every victory is a team effort. They practice hard each and every practice and it shows on friday nights. However I'm not going to say much more than what I already have because actions speak louder than words. You'll see it for yourself when these two teams meet again the playoffs.

I've seen both teams play and I expect the Stangs to dominate this game from the 1st quarter to the 4th quarter. The Mustangs of Huntingdon are a pretty tough team when they're at home. Mustangs roll on 40-7.

Huntingdon is good and I'm not taking anything away from them because they have a great team with one of the best coaching staffs in the state. However I don't think that they are better than Westview. I'm sorry but I'm not impressed that they can blow out teams like Bruceton, Chester Co. , and Adamsville. I think that Huntingdon and Westview will meet again. And hopefully the result will be the same.

You're right Westview did lose to the same team that the Tide beat. However the team that Milan played is going to be a whole different team than the team that the Tide will play on friday night. This new team is hungry and will stop at nothing for the victory. They know what its going to take to get the job done and they're not going to underestimate their opponent on friday night. They know that this is a good squad from Trenton. But I think that the chargers have too much talent for the Tide to handle. I think the chargers will roll on to an impressive 42-7 victory on friday night over a good Peabody squad.

Carver is a tough squad but Westview has beaten them before in Memphis. I think the chargers will go pretty far in the playoffs.

I honestly think that band should become a forum. At least Marching Band if nothing else. They practice really hard just like a lot of cheerleaders, football players, and basketball players do. Why not have a band forum?

This year we have a Westview squad that plays with heart instead of brute strength. Don't get me wrong this team is very physical and aggressive. I look for the Chargers to come on top out in a very dominating victory. They have a lot on the line and they're going to act like it. They know whats at stake and they know that this is a team that can't be overlooked. The chargers roll on in an impressive 42-7 victory over a tough Trenton Peabody team.

This should be an interesting matchup. I think that Milan knows the potential of this game and they will do what they have to do in order to come out with the W. I say Milan by a score of 28-21.

Duckman, you're absolutely right. Too much confidence can lead to the downfall of the chargers. However I think they'll stay focus and take the rest of the season one game at a time and not underestimate their opponent. If Westview can keep the momentum that they've used all season going then they'll go deep into the playoffs.

Last time I posted some people made the mistake of making my confidence into cockiness. However my prediction was really close. I predicted 35-7 and Westview won 37-10 over Union City last week. I'm not saying anything negative about this Great Mckenzie team. However I look for the Chargers of Westview to roll on to another big victory IF they continue to play at the same level that they have been playing. Once again I'm going to go with the 35-7 prediction with a Westview victory. However If I'm wrong then i'll gladly eat those words and apologize to the good 'ol people from Mckenzie.
