  1. While I agree with you on the raw talent of Lincoln County, I just don't see them beating MBA. Although they have the players to do it this year, MBA just has too much for most. Rutledge is an AMAZING coach, they run an insane variety of plays and fronts extremely well, and have the balance to throw the ball or run the ball.....extremely successfully either way. But who knows, maybe the talent and coaching at Lincoln could overcome MBA and I just don't see it.
  2. Going to have to agree with WesVols....definitely CPA
  3. Don't get overconfident......BA is going to be unbelievably well prepared and unrelenting in their attacks.
  4. I'll take MBA in a nail-biter.
  5. MBA over MUS 40-7.... 30 points were put on the board by MBA in 6 minutes, and the 7 by MUS came in the 4th vs. the MBA 3s.
  6. I disagree....although MBA looks like the obvious victor, MUS has always put up too much of a fight (4-4 record against MBA) to be a pushover. I predict an MBA win, but I don't think they'll be able to name the score. Also, keep what happened last year in mind. MBA was sitting at 4-4, then went undefeated from then on and won the Clinic Bowl. MUS is definitely 4-4..... they could definitely want a piece of what MBA had last year.....

I second that. Good luck at UVA!
  8. I've seen both McCallie and Baylor play against MBA, and I'll have to go with McCallie. They just seemed to have more on offense....if Baylor can step it up on defense, however, they definitely stand a chance.
  9. Heh, okay, maybe Nashville isn't completely neutral, but that only reaffirms my point. By saying neutral, I meant that it wasn't at CBHS, which could give some advantage, however slight.
  10. While McCallie stands a good chance of beating Baylor, neither team is on the level of CBHS, MBA, or BA. IMHO, the playoffs will go as follows... MBA will get a bye, CBHS and BA will be a deciding game, and CBHS will come out on top of a game that is much closer than the last meeting. MUS will fall to the Blue Tornado in the first round. In the second, McCallie will be fired up to play MBA, but won't be able to stop the Big Red. In the Clinic Bowl, I'm guessing MBA vs. CBHS....and as proven, MBA can take on CBHS, and I think on a dry field in neutral territory, they'll come out on top. But....... that's just my opinion.
  11. Without a doubt-- Fisher from MBA
  12. I believe MBA has 21 merit scholars, if my memory serves me.
