Wrong again. Everyone does make a choice where they live but my kids go to school based on where they are zoned to go by the local school board. People that send their kids to private schools make that choice. I say when you make that choice to be excluded from public education then public education should exclude you from competing with schools from the public education system. I keep hearing rumors that if the TSSAA makes it too hard on the privates that they will just start their own athletic association. I say lets beat them to it and kick the privates out of the TSSAA. The public schools should have the power to do that but if not then maybe the public schools should start their own athletic association and let Ronnie have his private schools all to himself.

Then send your kids to the tax supported schools then. The private school people chose to get out of the public school system. I say get out totally and stay out. Good riddance!

Dont forget all the surrounding counties they get their players from.

Great post. I think people lose sight of the fact that no one wants this team to succeed any more than the coaching staff does. Its them and the players that have the most invested into their success and we should trust they are doing everything in their control to be as successful as they possibly can be.

Dont forget the $1000.00 a year reserved parking spaces for all the big games. JCS has them, I'm sure other private schools do to. All in the name of good quality Christian education.

People that choose to send their kids to private school obviously wanted to separate themselves from the public education system. Why then do they insist that they be able to compete in athletics against the same public schools that they removed themselves from? Public schools should compete with other public schools and private schools should compete against other private schools. Problem solved.

Dailey isnt going back to TB. He just put up one of the most productive seasons in TSSAA history at QB and he'll be the QB in 2007 also.

Great season Mt. Pleasant, it just wasn't your night. You accomplished more than any Tiger football team in school history. All the Tiger fans are so proud of each and every one of you.

If you think Mt. Pleasant has a one man team make a phone call to the Jo Byrns QB and ask him if he only had one guy chasing him around Friday when he was running for his life every time he dropped back to pass. Ask some of the Jo Byrns lineman that were lying flat on their back at the whistle if they were only going up against one guy. I'll take the "one guy" that you say we have over any 4-5 that you have any day of the week but we have a team and you'll find out soon enough.
