Thanks for the post Big H Outlaw. I hope the positive feedback will help lift Earnest's spirits. He is just an amazing young man. No matter how tired or sore he might have been from playing on a Friday night, he always showed up Saturday morning to referee flag football. My son took a liking to him and so did I. I don't think some of the High School kids realize how much influence they have on younger children. The Cavaliers have really gotten the kids in our county excited about football. I hope we can have a strong program for years to come. If you play football for Huntingdon--Good luck to you Friday night. I am thinking about coming to see the game. I'm sure it will be a nail biter!

Yes, Earnest will play basketball. I talked to him tonight to see how he was and let him know that we would be at the basketball games to watch him play. I am not for sure when he will be able to play, but he shouldn't be out long. Earlier I stated that I wanted to thank the seniors. I would like to also thank everyone on the team. We have a fine group of young men. But we will truly miss the seniors; there was something extra special about those guys. Have lots of talent coming back next year. GO CAVALIERS!

Not too many players ever get to start as a freshmen, but Earnest Williams did. I felt like my heart was ripped out and put on a silver platter Friday night as I watched Earnest go down. At that moment winning the game didn't even matter. I would take a loss anytime than see him seriously injured. I am happy to say that his ankle is only sprained and that he is doing ok. I know it was hard for him to sit and watch the game from the sidelines. He wanted to play, because there is a fierce competitor within Earnest Williams. I would just like to thank him for the memories. I will forever remember the days of Earnest Williams at Cavalier Stadium. Not only his dedication on the field, but off the field as well. He has been an inspiration to my son and to my family as well. We lived for Friday night football. I told him that it didn't end Friday night, it was only the beginning. He will have better days ahead and my family will support him all the way. We will be there on Saturday's to see him play. We love you Earnest and may God bless you in everything you do. CAVALIER FAN,I think we have one of the best middle linebackers in the state of TN, but I no there are a lot of great players in TN. DAVID WHITE is a great linebacker he avg tackle 15 to 20 tackles a game -great player but still no one talks about him. He also plays on special teams too. If he doesn't make the tackle he is nearby and has great speed and can read the field.
