VERY SHOCKED AT THE OUTCOME OF THIS GAME!!

Hey Lady Mustang, and Wayne Co. Lady Cat fans, who will it be in tonights game?? Loretto hasn't had any playing experience as far as regular season play yet, soo... im expecting a little first game gitters, but also am expecting them to step up and play a great game and win by a double digit margin!! What does everyone else think??? How will it effect the Lady Wildcats of Wayne Co. coming off of a HUGE win last night over a supposed TOUGH Lewis County team??? Positive effects, Negative effects?? or will last nights game even be a factor tonight? Talk it up!!! GO LADY MUSTANGS!!! HOOP IT UP!!

MOVERS, aren't you her sister?? I dont' guess it matters, if she's good she's good, but usually people dont' get on the boards and post about their family! If they are that good others will do iT without family having to. She sounds impressive, but my team the "Loretto Lady Mustangs" has Jana Cross that is a junior, which I realize is a year ahead of Ann Marie, but she scored 26, and 22 pts. in her first 2 ballgames of her high school career her freshman year, and didn't even start. So.... not trying to be a jerk at all, but just for the info., there are other great players out there that are just as good, and better, and have also led teams as well at a VERY YOUNG AGE! Go LADY MUSTANGS!! Good luck tonite in your first game of the 2004-2005 season!! It's looking very promising ladies!! Go out and DOMINATE!!

Call it what you want ballbasher. I dont know if it was an accident or not. However, I do know that it was blown entirely out of proportion, and it was being told that her career may be over, and a bunch of other BULL CRAP, and she played in the Region tournament the next week. Didn't seem to "career-ending" to me. And Summertown fans, don't let your daughters fool you, your not on the floor, and you dont' know what they say. And dont' defend Willard for crying out loud, and make the comment that he wouldn't let his girls do it. He mouthes himself, so why would he care for his girls doing it?? LOL!!

Never caught a last name, but there is a freshman for Bradley Central that is impressive!! I believe her name is Callie. Tough defensive player!! Handled Atteberry from Cheatham County like she was NOTHING!! VERY heads-up player, and poised also!! I was impressed b/c nothing about her performance or play even resembled the "typical" uncertainty, and ill at ease performance of a freshman!!

Sorry Wildcat2004!! I dont know what else I can do!! It's not good if I "supposedly" bash the Lady Cats and it's not "ok" if I wish them luck on a good season either. Anybody with decency and morals weren't crazy about the Wild's b/c they were arrogant, belittling, and foul-mouthed people! So.... if that's what you want as "members of the family" then I'm sorry!! However, even tho there are fans like you that push Loretto and Summertown people further and further away from being able to support the Lady Cats by ALWAYS having something to say, I still intend on supporting them this season. With that being said, GOOD LUCK ladies and I wish you all the best!! MAYBE we'll cya at the "boro", that'd be awesome if we could have you guys there this year as well as the two other county teams that made an appearance last season!! good luck to the county, and all teams represent A AA and AAA well!! Good Luck as you all begin your season. I'm much more supportive, and tolerable of you guys since Coach Muckle has taken the team, and the Wild's have made their way into a different state!! Where is all the 9AA fans at?? This should be an exciting season, especially with a couple of teams in the district very capable of going deep into post season play!! Let's hear it 9AA!! And no, I dont remember a cheap shot, I remember a couple of Summertown players, especially one in particular mouthing, and doing some poking at Stone and she got enough and took care of it after the referees wouldn't!! Call it whatever you would like. I call it getting enough and finally reacting and simply taking care of business. Tough Luck Page!! Hang in there. Loretto played Unaka on Saturday afternoon. I was told that they got beat by 2points. It wasn't a true sign of Loretto at all. The Junior Varsity played the 2nd and 4th quarter, and the Varsity the 1st and 3rd quarter. When the Varsity was playing there was a "safe, secure" double digit lead. good day!! thumb

Just to let you know, I'll not reply back to another one of your post after this one, b/c your too SIMPLE-MINDED to even be able to discuss something with. However, it seems funny to me, that you made the comment up in your 2nd to last post saying, "only 3 could score, and it wasn't fair for LORETTO to have to play 3 on 5, but b/c of seniority that is how it was going to be this season." REGARDLESS, of what WARPED THINKING YOU HAVE, THAT IS.... TALKING OBVIOUSLY about the 2 other starters the coach chose to put on the floor Saturday. So.... dont' get on here and lie and say you dont talk about the players b/c God and EVERYBODY ELSE could figure out what you meant by that post. Humm, there is only 2 other starters that you didn't name, and they'd both be SENIORS!! WELL, that's not exactly brain surgery for the young ladies and their parents to figure out who your talking about when you say seniority!! And, I didnt' say the Junior Varsity was youth league, or terrible, or whatever it was you accused me of. If you'll scroll back up and read, I said that is what I was told. For some unfortunate reasons, I couldn't make it to the Playday at Columbia, so I'm not commenting one way or the other. Also, I"m not a parent of a starter. I did see some of the Sophmores, and Juniors last season that I, and EVERYONE else who reads this knows your referring to, and they looked very UNORGANIZED, and NOT READY FOR HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL. I"m very sorry if that offends any of the players or parents!! I dont mean it in a hurtful way, and I AM DEFINITELY a TRUE LADY MUSTANG SUPPORTER from the top of the line up, to the ones that never hit the hard wood. TIDEHASTURNED, My Gosh, give the coaches and players a chance. It's pre season, there arent REAL GAMES for 2 to 3 more weeks. It's ppl like u that b**** all year long and get EVERYBODY involved upset off from the beginning. Try supporting the team, and quit 2nd guessing EVERYTHING. Best I can remember, the job was open a couple years back. If you feel sooo strongly about how things are run, then you should've taken the team when the job was open. If you have a kid on the team that isn't getting to play then get them out in the yard, or in the gym more and let them earn the playing time. I didn't get to make it to the Play Day this past Saturday, but I was told, that when the 2nd string was put in, that for the most part, it was the most UNORGANIZED, YOUTH LEAGUE looking thing that has ever been seen. So give me some names of who EXACTLY you think should be starting in place of older players. On 2nd thought, just give me your kids name, and that will say it all, b/c thas all it boils down to anyway. It doesn't make any difference, and I know I'm wastin my breath, but please dont get on here and be DESTRUCTIVE to the WELL-BEING of the team anymore this season. It's better if EVERYONE stays positive. And..... last but not least, even if you find it necessary to get on the boards and be NEGATIVE, and drag the entire team down, please refrain from making comments like ,"only 3 players can score", as you did in your previous post!! I know someone from another school made the comment only 2 could score, but from the way you talked your a Loretto supporter, and you have no business making comments like that about girls off your team. Blast the coach if that makes you feel like a BIG PERSON, b/c both of the coaches are grown adults, and can handle IMMATURE NEGATIVITY but hold your fire when it comes to the players!! Because your comment was basically saying that 3 players on the ENTIRE team was all that could score, and in case you dont know, many girls, and their parents probably view these boards, and like I said, that'll be what ruins the season, plus that comment is FAR from the truth. Loretto Lady Mustangs made it to the State tournament last year, whereas several of these teams being named did not!! That doesn't make since that the Lady Mustangs made it last year, and only lost 2 players, to which can be, and have been replaced. Not taken anything away from the 2 players we lost, they were great, but we've got some young juniors and sophomores, and 2very IMPRESSIVE SENIORS that are going to step up to the challenge this season. They already have a taste of "the boro" and will be back this season, if ANYTHING at all sways in their direction. The only difference in last season, and this season for the girls i believe will be that it won't be one game and then out at "the boro." It'll be 3 and out with the "Gold Ball" tucked under their arm as they exit the floor as State Champs. Ofcourse i'm prejudice, but I see sooo much talent and young talent in this bunch of girls that it is unreal. Plus the fact they are sooo eager to return back to the "BIG SHOW" in the "BORO"!!! GOOD LUCK LADY MUSTANGS!!!! TAKE IT ALL THE WAY!!!

hey, I'm not tryin to be a smart butt at all, I'm just attemptin to answer your question the best way i know how. Its' not so much the key "players", is it is the key "coach" that they have. She's WONDERFUL!! You could see from game to game last year, how her team improved. Yes, individuals can improve on their own, but not without alot of encouragement from their coach. She's great!! I'm not even a Columbia fan, or even a 3A fan, but I have the HIGHEST RESPECTS for Coach Moore!! Good Luck to Columbia, and to my Lady Mustangs as well!!!

I think the Loretto High School gym is EXTREMELY tough to play in. The temperature is miserable to all opponents and fans except for "Loretto's Finest!!" Also, the bleachers are very closed to the court, and the players can hear what is being yelled, and chanted each trip they take up and down the floor. "The Barn" as we Lady Mustang Fans like to call it, can be rocked at times when need be. For example, the district tournament last year, was dern near unbareable for the Lady Bobcats to compete in. It was so loud, and so one sided as far as crowd size and cheerin, that they couldn't even concentrate on what they need to be doing. I love "The Barn" and dont care if we ever get another gym. I say we just keep moppin up the floor when it rains in through the wholes in the roof, gettin the floor redone when termites eat through it, patchin tha roof after a strong wind sweeps through town, and remodelin the same old dressin rooms, i mean after all, the Opponents are all that has to dress in them anyway!! Go Lady Mustangs!! So long for now..... now YOU, just sit back and wait for your journey to, "The Barn" It'll be an experience you won't soon be able to forget!!! thumb

k wright, Up just a few posts, I love where you stated that about Loretto (2A) defeating the big L'burg by a margin of 34 pts. or more. That brings back great memories, and 2 more memories to come this season, and then 2more again the season after that. Loretto's future is lookin brighter and brighter for the next two seasons, and if L'burg Lady Cats are basing their "making noise" on beating Loretto then they'll be "silent" again for atleast the next two years. And about Meek, she couldnt' handle playing ball in Class (A) basketball, for a very demanding, and good coach. Much less (3A.) Although, I do have to say, I've seen a few of L'burg's games last season, and all the teams I saw them compete against that were in their district were very low talent, and not what I think class 3A should be all about. That is with the exception of Rachel Moore's Columbia team, and then of course Shelbyville, and Coach Insel, A.K.A. "TALENTED RECRUITER!!" LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING SOME ACTION COMPETITIVE ACTION!!!

Hey there Gerry! Your exactly right about not counting out Fairview. I dont now what kind of talent they will have this season, but I do know that NO team should ever be counted out BEFORE the season starts, or even BEFORE the tournaments starts b/c we all know that once District Tourney time rolls around, nothin else matters up to that point. Thanks for correcting me on that. However, I still stand true to what I said, about the loss of both Bledsoe's are CRUCIAL to the Lady Yellow Jackets team, and program, but I do hope the coach that steps up to the challenge to replace Coach Bledsoe is as good as he was b/c it makes our DISTRICT as a whole look better to be COMPETITIVE, AND WELL ROUNDED night in and night out.
