Maryville's enrollment for the 2003-2004 school year is 1300 students, and they keep movin in.

Does anyone have any info if Maryville will move up to 5a? I know they have enough, or will have enough next year. Does anyone know when we will know for sure if this is true? I overheard someone talking in the grocery store that he had heard that they were moving up. Thanks for any Info! Also do you think this would be better or worse for the Rebels to move up? The band din't come to the game because of seats issues, but I think some people could have stood up to laet the band play, and cheer us on, that could have been a big factor, agian I believe this was a decision on the Mo. West side. I'm not sure of the reason why you are upset at the tssaa and the Maryville administration?

I will post this again in case some of you Reb fans didn't see it earlier. Please don't judge our whole program on a few overzealous kids. Although both sides were guilty of talking trash before the game, I admire both programs and coaching staffs. We know that, it just takes a few bad posts, to make most of us pretty angry. That is why I would have to agree with RebelRaider, that I'm beggining to cheer for Hillsboro, I mean how can you not show respect for a 39 game winning streak and a 3 peat state title, they didn't work their butts off just to be criticized when they finnaly lost!

Good luck to both teams, take it from us Maryville fans, that team is very very very good, I just don't think if you get behind, you can comeback and win it like we did. Hillsboro-21 Mo. West-10

That is exactly right, they have a lot of tallent, and I wouldn't be surprised if they do better next year. It is shocking though the amount they lost by, you just can't turnover the ball that many times and win a game, especially to a good team.

I agree. That is just completely classless! Even though I wish them luck I doubt they will be getting a gold ball, and with all of this trash talk I'm beggining to think I don't want them too, I fiqured when we lost, they wouldn't behave like Knox. Why do you all have to win like loosers, players get on here and read this stuff(hopefully the Maryville players don't). You won, congrats, but please win like winners, and be respectful to the team that has lost.

I very seriously doubt it, he loves his job coaching/teaching, just someone trying to start something up, or just trying to make the fans for the rebels worse than they already feel.

Next year is the year for Maryville! Undefeated freshmen team coming in, as mhs said earlier I believe. They were compared even to the '98 team, and a great sophomore squad, and of course those juniors movin up to lead the team! Can't wait to see them play in 5a or 4a those teams are gonna be seing big ole' red M's in their dreams hehe! Rebels, remember the past, because you learn from it, but look stronger into the future, because the future holds your dreams! ROLL REBS ROLL

I agree. I still can't believe that they beat us, even though I knew we might lose. Hard loosing a game after almost 2 and a half years of coming home each week being winners, good luck to Mo. West, bring the cup back to the east, I can't wait to see ya'll on the tv(that is if they have it on tv), hopefully though I can make it and cheer you on, not many teams I don't dislike more than Hillsboro! With Hillsboro's latest injurie, I think it is your year to bring it home!
