  1. A Bishop Byrne AA Catholic AAA MBA
  2. Rollred you said that the West has the best DII AA football but they dont even have a team in the state championship.
  3. Lets hear more about these four newly eligible players that could make a difference....
  4. OOO i wish we played this one tommorow.
  5. Did Sweetwater's big rb get it done for them?
  6. Nick Mcfadden is the best back in East TN. If he played all 4 quarters in all of Catholics games he would have about 1600 yards. Not to mention that he is just a junior and will be back next year.
  7. Catholic has the coach that knows what to do and the entire team trusts his every move. That will give the Irish the edge in this one.
  8. Nick Mcfadden (Catholic) Austin Sheridan (Catholic) Michael Wright (Farragut) Rolfes from Webb is a really good player but top 10 in knoxville is pushin it
  9. WOW! Let's think again! Mark Pemberton inherited a Catholic program that was 3-7 when he got there. In his first year we went 7-4 and in his second year we are 11-0 I think that is the best coach in the state right there ladies and gents. Bill Young from CAK is another turn around man. Meadows from Jeff county has done a good job. Top 5. 1. Mark Pemberton 2. Bill Young 3. Fulkerson from Karns... if you can coach a beaver you can coach neone 4. Quarles of Marryville for obvious reasons 5. Turner from Tyner
  10. Tyner should get this one. They are too good this year.
  11. Did the Cats get this one done on the ground through that big back of theirs?
  12. Good job CAK you got the coach that Catholic originally wanted. I think this win comes down to a good new coaching staff. Good Job Coach Young and CAK whenever you're ready I think that some more Catholic CAK games could be fun. Good luck the rest of the way boys.
  13. Wildcatfan when were you a senior?
  14. I think this is gonna be closer than most people think. Mccallie has a chance if they stick to their guns and collision Santi. If Mccallie can beat Central like they did dont count them out.
  15. Dack, Coach Branson told John Farris that we were in knoxville. Thats what Ms. spaulding said too. I didnt believe it till farris told me coach B told him that.
  16. Nick Mcfadden is having an awesome year for catholic at back especially while splitting carries with 3 other guys.
  17. This is Jeff Jolly one of Coach Treece's former players. Tell him I said thanks for the support and that I hope all is well for him up at Coalfield. He is a great man.
  18. BriC Posted on Nov 4 - 07:29 PM I would have to say Pemberton, the head coach at Knox Catholic. He has taken a program that went 3-7 the year before he arrived and is now ranked #1 in DII AA and is undefeated. Coach Pemberton from Catholic was said to be going to have a "rebuilding year" this year and turned his team into a 10-0 team. He deserves the honor.
  19. This has all the makings of a great playoff game. I go to Catholic and we played GP and scrimmaged Sweetwater in the summer. Sweetwater's runningback is awesome and if GP can stop him they should win. The boys from Sweetwater better buckle their chin straps cus GP is a big physical team.
  20. I go to Knox Catholic and I believe we scrimmaged Oneida in the summer. They had some lineman that could pull and really move. They showed us how good ole fashioned country boys play football. Either we got quite a bit better or Oneida is goin to be awful tough for NG to upset. NG does have some Good lineman and a good fullback that will be tough for Oneida to stop. NG's new qb is becoming adept at hitting slants and quick seams. If we have improved as much as I would like to hope we have this will be a good game, if not Oneida will win big. Good luck to both teams.
  21. Farragut High School runs a "Pro style offense" and tries to spread the field. They went 5-5 this year. I know that sounds not too bad but considering they are the largest school in the knoxville area and since 95' havent done nething in or even made the playoffs it seems rather strange. They even run well out of the spread and have a defense that is better than their offense. Any opinions?
  22. Soddy Daisy has some big ole boys and could be set to give DB a big ole upset.
  23. Science Hill defeats McMinn and Im Feeling a year of upsets for the TRIBE Soddy Daisy goes to town and beats DB.
  24. From Knoxville Catholic watch out for Joey Paynter a DE Junior with 45 tackles 8 for loss and 9 sacks and Nick mcfadden with 909 yds on just 86 attempts. Mcfadden also has 313 yds recieving.
