Is that right Jordan. Just like Sauceman and Swatsell struggled against them last year. I know the exchange student is good but the other ones dont stand a chance.
  2. South Greene plays Unicoi at Sullivan East today.
  3. It seems that Kiesha can't stay on the court-due to attitude problems...she really needs to straighten up before she goes to Georgia State and has a rude awakening! I've known the girl for the majority of my life, and she has more potential than most girls I know. If she could channel that attitude to fuel her on the basketball court rather than her mouth, well she could skip college and start playing with Lisa Leslie! Agree?
  4. I agree, when Manuel decides to play, it's a beautiful thing, and it's not that she's not capable of doing it every day. If Manuel could improve her attitude and start focusing on playing well and winning, she could be impossible to stop. But she's got a long way to go with her attitude....... I think we should change a song's lyrics to.... I wanna be like Megan! hehe
  5. AAA- comes down to Mt. Juliet or Wilson Central in my opinion AA- too early to tell- East TN teams look strongest A- Clarkrange more than likely- no size but can shoot like nothin' else! But it's early.....ton's could change..............let the games begin!
  6. Too bad that some people cannot be good losers.....SOURGRAPES! good luck E-town ( very talented team )! But in response to GLee, I think that may be the TSSAA standing rule, but I personally know this to not be true. I know players to have uncle's calling. I actually have witness several "kin" to have called big games....some as close as uncle's and first cousins! As increadibly unfair as this is....I have seen it happen! Crazy isn't it?!!!
  7. What Happened??????? What are the details?
  8. South Greene beat South Doyle by 17 without the services of Brittany Waddell who is a major asset to the team. Also, SG's Brooke Waddell got into early foul trouble and ended up sitting out of 1/2 the first and whole 2nd quarter and even partially the third. She still ended up scoring 25 and hauling in 15 rebounds.... The team played great as whole and had several helping out. Sara Hopson had a very steady night by making big plays when they needed it. Also, Katrina Laws played an important role and helped to give them the first win of the year! Good Luck Lady Rebels!!!
  9. Girls Sevier County vs. Knox Central- Sevier by 9 pts South Greene vs. South Doyle-South Greene by 17 pts Boys South Greene vs. South Doyle-South Doyle by 2 Karns vs. Sevier County-Karns ? That's what I know... tonight Jefferson County girls play Karns and I think Farragut plays, but I'm not sure who? Games will resume Friday
  10. Things can happen when you live and die by the three! Obviously Daniel Boone did not play their best, but they outsized SG by a large margin and still shot several outside shots...can't blame them though, if that's what they are comfortable with. I would try and utilize some of their heigth against smaller teams. As for South Greene, they were without the services of Brittany Waddell due to a nasty little incident that left her with 13 stitches on her right foot. South Greene will be without her for 2 weeks supposedly, but I heard through the grapevine that she's trying to make some appearances in their Thanksgiving Tournament at Knox Central. Coach Ricker also had the same strategy as Daniel Boone, letting everyone play the same amount of time. He tried to let the younger players get some time in, it won't be the same scenario from here on out.
  11. It appears to look that way..... But Chuckey Doak (on paper) looks to be much improved this year. They are actually the tallest team, and West Greene returns more veterans than anyone. Only problem, that won't guarantee them anything. Both teams need to make tons of improvment. I hate that SG and Pigeon Forge won't be in the same district next year!
  12. South Greene plays Daniel Boone Friday night at South Greene
  13. I'm not real familiar with A ball, but I have seen Clarkrange play this summer quite a few times. I wasn't real impressed. Maybe the games I saw, they weren't playing their best, but their lack of size and motivation(during those games) wasn't something wonderful to watch. OS should dominate once moved to single A. OS has great tradition and a great coach, should be interesting to watch!
  14. Great Player....Congrats and Good Luck

    Greeneville

I heard that Brobeck is gone for good, as for Freeman though, I heard she had deceided at the last minute to play this year. She's not a huge sccoring threat, but her defense helps out immensly. Lauren Anderson should definitely be seeing some major playing time this year as for Ashley Deans at post. One thing Greeneville will really struggle with this year is the Point Guard role. I hardly think that Forney is poised enough to control the top with the level of play in the IMAC, and I don't believe that Whitney Carter is ready either. But who knows, Greeneville may suprised me.
