Well Said Sir - They will find out soon enough. They do get props for beating us in the regular season. Let me say we really look forward to a possible rematch in the playoffs. No promises, yelling or screaming - we just really look forward to the playoffs. As you mentioned earlier, it is like a whole new season. Take pride in your great season so far and support your team but don't write checks your team can't cash.

Mustangs by as many as they want. They will control the LOS and it will be ugly after halftime. Huntingdon has a good ball team. Interesting formation from the Mustangs last week. A little un-conventional but I really liked it with Warbritton in the gun. Hard to stop with those numbers all coming at you and Warbritton is just a straight up tough ball player. That boy can handle the workload. Impressive for sure!!!!

Peabody takes this one in my opinion. I really think Trenton can cause some trouble come playoff time.

The Annual matchup will not disappoint this year. Milan should win but that has been the case before. I fully expect the ghost of Paul Ward to make an appearence tonight on that field. Happens every time these two teams get together in that stadium, great atmosphere, Two great programs but the Dogs will be a little too stout for those Mustangs. - Milan 31 Huntingdon 13

I'm a Milan homer but after watching the Maryville/Alcoa game I can't see anybody in 3A beating the Tornadoes this year. The only weakness I sasw was depth and if they can push/handle Maryville for 3 3/4 quarters there isn't anybody in 3A that can handle them. They would totally dominate with the ability to control the clock. Opponent will have to score every drive and CAK is the best bet to give them a push.

Crockett rolls in this one. I'd say by 21 at least.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Dyersburg push the game into the 4th quarter. I was impressed with the Trojans last year and the turnaround from the previous campaign. Covington may win this and probably should according to most but wouldn't be surprised if the Trojans pull the upset.

Milan, West Carroll, Humboldt, Crockett Co., CAK, and CPA I know are using it.

I think Crockett gets Humboldt this year. Just an opinion. Milan handles Trenton in 2nd half after a tough first 2 quarters.

That's pretty cool!!! Sounds like great support for a start to the year.

I really think it will come down to you guys and us if we can stay healthy. I just hope we get you back in Milan if we play again. CPA will be a contender for sure but my guess is they will miss Wharton more than some think. Time will tell.

I'm thinking there is a pretty good football coach already in the GC system.......

I totally agree - have thought the same thing before. It is always a good thing for statewide recognition of high school athletes. For some of these players it will be one of the biggest highlights of their life.

CPA4Ever - I should have tried to meet up with you last night early. I have seen you on these boards for the last 4-6 years and you always have a great perspective on your team. I thought you guys gave everything you had last night. I was really impressed with the QB in the first half. Hope he is ok, heard through grapevine he has had trouble with ankle all year? I really can't say enough about the heart of your team, esp. your defense in the 2nd half. When a team loses it QB it can be disheartning to the whole team. Your defense left every ounce of effort on the field last night. I have never seen Milan have such short fields in the 2nd half of a game and not be able to get in the endzone. Who would've thought the safety would decide the game? Not me. Good luck next year, guessing we might just meet up again with you guys and Fairview.

Football Dad - I appreciate the love early in the week but you guys have a much nicer school & stadium. I was up your way in July and swung by and watched just a few minutes of conditioning. Your campus is beautiful, plain & simple. You guys have the best of the best and it shows when you turn in the campus. I have seen the Alcoa guys wear you out on the photoshop part and those guys are good. I'll try and toss out some good stuff but I will fail miserably when compared to the Alcoa guys. Now to the game Offensively - We are gonna have to score a lot of points. If the Bulldogs don't put at least 24 - 35 on the board then we won't win. We have talent and playmakers, we just need to get in the endzone on Friday. You will probably see a 80/20 run/pass play selection from us this coming week and maybe a little more to the run side. Much like our regular season competition did to us, we will look to limit your possesions and therefore limit the chances to score. If it is a shoot-out we could be in trouble. Defensively - We are goona be challenged to contain your passing game. We play a bend but don't break zone and I know for sure we haven't seen any passing attack like you guys this year. Heck, by looking at your numbers no one in West Tennessee has seen a passing attack like the Warriors have. We have some good athletes on the defensive side of the ball and they are gonna need to play a great game for the Bulldogs to come out on top. So with that said how do I see it? Bulldogs shock the world and stun the Warriors!!! Score later in the week

CPA deserves much credit for playing a great game!!! They had a couple of chances to lay down and they didn't do it. You guys have a great team and some serious talent. Hate the QB got hurt on the 1st play of the second half. He was really the main factor in the first half for you guys I thought. #5 is a stud and I hear he is only a Soph. Congratulations on a great year!!! Milan Bulldogs going to the State - Great Job guys!!! I thought we left some oppurtunities out there tonight but you got the W and that is really all that matters. You guys have met the challenge every week. Stay focused, pratice hard and win the State Championship. Go Bulldogs!!!!
