mocs30 this is borum i agree that ive not played good against powell in my career but i dont get where u say i need to mature. i think i have matured alot since last year and dont let my emotions get to me as bad. but thanks for the comment about i can shoot although ive not been shooting that great since football ended.

what does everybody else think about the game tonight

good game tonight at clinton. both teams played great and is going to be fun playing them my next two years. i hate that jesse webb could not play tonight and hope he has a speedy recovery from his ankle injury. he is a good hitter and will help ac in there district tourny.

i cant believe all the crap talking about helton im hearing he is one of the best hitters in the KIL no doubt about it. he would start at powell right now if he wanted to go there.

i still dont see how he is struggling over half of the runs scored on him are unearned. but i guess we will just half to see what he does when the heat is on he will bring his A game

powell maybe will win the regular season title but when it comes tourney time halls will still be the team to beat because of pitching and good hitting. lockwood and larson will be to much to handle when the heat is on

i cant belive what im hearing about lockwood is struggling. no he is not the two games hes lost theyv'e either not hit or kicked it around. i dont think there is much he can do about that. lockwood is the best player in district 3aaa. he may seem a little cocky at times but he is just confident and if he is cocky he can def back it up.

if you are going to talk about homeruns then you have to say jeff lockwood is the best homerun hitter around here if he keeps this up he will break the kil record for homeruns in a single season which is 17. he had 11 before tonight and 7 in his last 8 games.

zach helton is one of the best hitters around and anyone who says he cant play at powell is wrong. he can hit for average as good as anyone in the kil.

it was a great game by both teams. andy tipton is truly a clutch player. i think the two best teams in our region played last night. it really could have went either way. i just wish that we could have met in the championship tonight instead of the semis. but my hat is off to Farragut not to downplay there season they have also had a great year. i also thought big t stepped up when his time was called and made a great block then put the dagger in the heart of Maryville when he hit the layup to win it. but great season to Maryville and good luck next year.

great game by both teams i hate to see zack's high school career end on a play like that. but i have to give props to tipton for going and getting the rebound and putting it back up. one of the best games all year.

red rage you must be losing it if you think that halls is going to beat Clinton. Clinton has beat them twice by 20 points this year. i dont think it will be that bad but Clinton wins without trouble. Oak Ridge beats Karns with or without fersner. Clinton vs. Oak Ridge is always a toss up game

i agree with you all about them they dont play much of a sch. i heard that Clinton tried to play them this year and were turned down. catholic has alot of talent on there team and dont take advantage of it and play some quality 3a teams. if they did it would help them come tourney time. it just would not make that record as pretty.

how come nobody ever mentions Oak Ridge when there talking about self distructing. its always Clinton. they have had more players miss games due to suspensions then us. i dont see why everybody hates us for some reason. dont hate on us just because we are going to win the tourney.
