oaklandgrad, for once you are right. Mr. Football, and Mr. Basketball are boiled down to what player can get the media and press to "buy" into them. Many of the voters never see more than 5 "real" candidates throughout the entire season. They will be "loyal" to their area. I also know some coaches are not above lying on stats or "gifting" the members of the voting media for votes. It has become a farce. Maybe the anser is to take all the MVP's from each district and take it from there for the finalists? Do I think Allen deserves a vote for Mr. Basketball right now? no, I don't. He isn't "there" yet. Does he deserve the MVP of the District? Yes.

What Price "tells" CC, and what he "tells" his friends that are also coaches are two different conversations. If he had a "means" out, he would take it. He even called about FC. If you only knew.
