Smith County seems to be doing about the same as last year. All the pre-season hype from the Smith Co people had me believing they were a State contender. Do you consider the season disappointment so far? How about your new coach? Is he a better fit than the previous coach?

He has done very good job with limited depth since taking over. He will make Goodpasture a top tier program in a few years.

Your one of the few and congrats on the exposure. Most all coaches are there to see the players they already know about AND ARE COMPETING WITH THEIR FELLOW COACHES ON A SELECT FEW. The remaing 99% are the "paycheck" for the "staff". Maybe its bad advice but it came from college coaches.

You do have a horse in this race. Having a daughter on the SSS makes you bias. You support SSS on almost every thread.

You need to look up Tennessee team pride out of Smyrna (next I-840 and about 20 minutes from Brentwood). Your daughter would have been a 9 - Under this year and will be 10- Under next year. Team Pride won the State tournament this year and finished 3rd in the nation at the National tournament in the 9U girls. www.tennesseeteampride.com

What is the format to determine the #1 seed out of pool play when two teams have one loss each. In the 11U bracket, the Trotters lost to Team Pride but were still the #1 seed coming out of pool play. Since both teams had one loss, does the higher seed remain #1?

Are they considering a 2nd week of individual camp?

The easiest road to the state is by way of East Tennessee. Next, would playing the Chattanooga area teams. CPA's district has to play your fine district in the sectionals (normally, you do not consider that easy).
