  1. DCA HAS BEAT THEM 3 TIMES THIS YEAR AND IT IS HARD TO BEAT ANYBODY 4 TIMES. Goodpasture IS BIG AND COULD PULL AN UPSET. DCA BY 4 HOWEVER.
  2. DCA BEAT THEM 2 OUT OF 3 GAMES THIS YEAR. DCA WON THE REGULAR SEASON DISTRICT TITLE. DEFENSE MAKES YOU HAVE BAD NIGHTS. DEATHRIDGE DID NOT AVERAGE 8 POINTS A GAME AGAINST DCA.(IN THE 3 GAMES THEY PLAYED). #5 ONLY SCORED 11 POINTS (WHICH IS NOT A CAREER GAME). #00 KEATON BODIFORD DOMINATED THE GAME AND SCORED 21 POINTS AND HAD HER USUAL GOOD GAME AGAINST EZELL AND EZELL IS GOING HOME. GOOD YEAR FOR BOTH TEAMS BUT DCA HAS COME THROUGH ALL YEAR.
  3. ALWAYS STICK TO THE PLAN AND MAKE IT SIMPLE. WORDS TO LIVE BY!
  4. DCA WON THE REGULAR SEASON DISTRICT, SO HOW CAN IT BE A STRETCH TO WIN THE DISTRICT TOURNAMENT AS WELL. ALSO, THE MVP DOES NOT HAVE TO COME FROM THE WINNING TEAM.
  5. I'LL ADD LEE FROM CPA, WINFREE FROM DCA AND I'LL GO WITH BODIFORD FROM DCA AS MVP OVER REED FROM EZELL.
  6. He coaches the girls and boys team?
  7. That's the safe approach to life. If you lose, then we were supposed to (because they recruit). If we win, then we were supposed to because they are inferior to our team. Many private schools are successful for many reasons. You say they recruit because they win. I'm sure many say tiny Jackson County recruits because they win so much. We both know they don't but kids will transfer to a school just because of that schools success. One day, the rules will be changed for schools like Jackson Co and Shelbyville (just as they are for the the private schools). The other schools that are not winning will get together and figure out a way to keep the successful schools from winning.
  8. Clay Co is not a top 10 team. Great win over JC but too many losses to lesser teams. FRA is a better team and from a better district. FRA has only lost to two teams this year (2 to Harpeth Hall and 2 to DCA, two of the top teams in their respective classes.) FRA will finish 2nd or 3rd in their district and usually play the 4th and 5th place teams close (JUST TO PUT THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE). Clay County would not make it out of the the district 9 tournament this year if they were in district 9.
  9. FRA was expected to win that game. I was told they controlled the game all night. They were the better team (and bigger with a front line of 6'1". 6'1" and 6'2")....
  10. According to the strength/success poll, Clay Co should soundly beat FRA. Anyone know of a score yet?
  11. Franklin Road Academy play-day (pre-season). A three point loss where DCA'S best player did not play the first half.
  12. SPORTS RADIO FAILED TO TELL US HE IS FROM WEST TENNESSEE AND KNOWS VERY LITTLE ABOUT THE REST OF THE STATE. I PREDICT HE OR SHE IS FROM Dresden.
  13. Good teams will make sure they play as many top quality opponents in pre-season as they can. EXACTLY! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT! EVEN THE AP POLL IS MORE ACCURATE THAN YOUR "ATTEMPT"AT A POLL. DON'T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB!
  14. EZELL, DONELSON CHRISTIAN, FRA, Goodpasture AND CPA. DONELSON CHRISTIAN PLAYED Dresden IN PRE-SEASON AND I THINK EZELL DID TOO. DONELSON CHRISTIAN ALSO PLAYED GIBSON CO .
  15. Not even close! Check out district 9 and then try your poll again. Ask Dresden about some of those teams in district 9!!
  16. Moore Co lost by 14 to FRA, 8 AND 14 TO Ezell. These are not close scores when it is a low scoring game. Plus, Ezell is not that good this year. FRA is a top 5 team. Moore Co has played a tough schedule but getting to the state will be very difficult.
  17. Reed will lead Ezell and Bodiford will lead Donelson Christian. However, I believe DCA has the more depth. Reed is a scorer and Bodiford is a more complete player (rebounds, assists, defense, etc). They are both vital to their respective team but I believe DCA will win. However, winning "at" Ezell is always difficult because of the 'HOME COURT ADVANTAGE".
  18. Class A (AP #1 FRA) lost last night to unranked DCA.
  19. DCA is a top 5 team in class A. CPA will finish 5th in district 9. The AP poll is similar to all-state teams. If your team goes to the state, you have a chance to make all state. In the AP poll, they do not look at anything but your record. The teams that are playing the tough schedule now are the ones who are preparing for a chance to go to the state. No offense to CPA, but they are not a top 20 team. They know it however. Top 6 teams in the state (CLASS A) (my opinion only) TRENTON DONELSON CHRISTIAN FRA HUNTINGTON CLARKRANGE EZELL-HARDING
  20. DRESDEN CAN'T COMPETE WITH DCA, FRA OR EZELL.
  21. This should be DCA'S year. If Bodiford stays healthy, they could go to the state. As for the officials, private schools are often treated as the visiting school.(Even when they are the home team and especially when they are playing against public schools).........It's expected.
