CoachSH, MAYBE thats why yall are struggling down there at UTC with money...Yall would rather have out of area players that are just as good as these guys around here...I am just a fan who dont know much, but I do know that yall are crazy to not recruit Pugh, Hare, and Pickel all together...BUT maybe you are satisfied with getting 2nd best every year in conference play...Maybe these guys aren't good enough to play at the powerhouse college team you have at UTC but dont make the comment about Pickel or Pugh not being able to play somewhere D1... That comment just makes you look stupid, and the worse thing is, your a coach! I can PROMISE you that Pickel can be used somewhere for a D1 school and you know that! By the way, at first yall didn't want Alphonso Pugh either bc u didnt think he could play there...Now look at what he's done for you...

the challlenge cup is an allstar tournament for the southeastern teams......the best at each weight in each state is on a team...team tennessee, georgia, alabama, and so on.....just depends on which states show up.....its held at camp jordan arena in chattanooga and is a great tournament to watch.....placewinners and champs from each state vs. equal or better from other states !

Also, in direct reference to the 171 match. Knee Slaps with one hand on the head, and pumping your legs... is by no means a shot. a shot is a full commitment to one or both legs...in essence... trying to score, not looking like he was trying to score...or showing blackmon and the whole crowd that he could shoot just in case he needed to . and whether or not he was tired after the match was his fault, tired doesnt make you a champion.... the wrestlers who are in shape... usually come out on top....by the way.

Why are all of you complaining about stalling calls against the bradley guys? they won didnt they...... and that is a yes or no question, no if's, and's, or buts about it. Quit wasting your time saying that bradley stalled out. bradley's 130 jake west hung on in overtime and sudden death overtime and won the match. does he not make your list of ' stallouts' ? is wrestling smart late in a match stalling? i think not....i think those of you making these false allegations are lost pitying for yourself who did not win or pitying for someone you were rooting for who did not win. i dont mean to sound rude but stop wasting your time, time machines aren't possible yet and until they are your wasting your time telling me and everybody else about the state tournament that ENDED OFFICIALLY hours ago. once its done its done guys..... give it a rest ! honestly, it sounds like everyone goes to state with grudges against bradley. the sadest part of all this is that kids between the ages of 15 and 18 years old are being ridiculed, with their names and everything on the internet by 40 yr old adults. think about peoples grandparents that come to the match to watch their grandsons wrestle....and their grandson winning a title, then going home and reading on here that they don't deserve it. look through the singlet, then your arguments are few and far between.

.....if paul campbell and micheal marable wrestle.......it will be awful......marable will prolly win by a good deficit.......thats all i can say.....good luck to both of those guys !

matt bailey from bradley is tough.....he's ranked #1 i believe and the kid lost last yr. at the last second to medal and therefore didnt. he's back with a vengeance.

LovinIt.....i agree, boy would that be a site to see.....the 2 best teams in the southeast to go head2head at the virginia duals. at least people on here would truly see who is the best team in the southeast states of US.

i agree with toughest6 on his views......motivation is the key ..... nothing is more movivating than seeing a coach do everything the way he harps at a wrestler about doing and also teaching it with intensity. sumwhere in the middle of all this someone should show some humility and let the best coach show by his credentials and what his teams have done and not what the parents and friends of wrestlers of each school think and run they're mouthes on here about. because in reality all that matters with this subject is that a wrestler is mentally and physically prepared the best by they're coach when february rolls around.

Micheal Marable will win at whatever weight he goes. But how funny would it be to see him at 171? Its definitely some weight for him to cut, but it would be worth it.
