Who was the OC and where did he go?

I haven't heard anything about the Hornets this year. What are the expectations and forcast for this year.

What happened to Littlejohn?

I don't believe that steroid use at the high school level is as wide spread as you may think. Yes there are some examples of kids using them here and there, but not everywhere. I do agree that kids are getting a lot stronger these days because of the advances in high school lifting programs (better educated coaches) and a better understanding of diet and supplementation.

Knoxville Central's defense is always good.

You should always be honest and trade two quality unedited game films. Unfortunately many coaches do edit plays and trade a poor quality tape. Many teams are gradually moving into digital filming. I believe that this will change the future of trading game film. It will not only change the quality but also the means of exchanging it. For example, in the future two teams could exchange film via the internet. And if you think other people getting copies of your games are bad now, just wait! The quality will be better but many more people will have access to you games. Good and Bad.

The wing-t can be boring, unless it is ran well. When it is ran well it can be a dynamic offensive system. I have seen many "wing-t teams" run plays out of shotgun or 4 wides. And then I have seen others run mid-line, inside veer, speed, lead, and trap options out of their wing-t offense. Both of these variations add an exciting wrinkle to the "boring wing-t."

Athletes vs Athletes, will come down to coaching.

You surely do not believe that Carter will be Maryville. I am sure Carter has improved since last year, but beat Maryville? PLEASE!

Varsity Gold has been a good option in the past. They now offer a ticket/coupon sale similar to the card. The PDP company offers a letter writing service, where the kids give out 10 addresses of friends and family, basically asking for donations. Many booster clubs have golf tournaments, car washes, and doughnut sales. Many programs in Georgia are starting to just charge a fee to play football, and skip all the fundraising. Many parents would rather pay a flat fee and not be bothered with sales.

I agree redupset! Why would a school system as large as Knox Count make such a poor decision?

Has the role of the AD become so powerless that no one even knows who the AD's are ?

During recent times the role of the AD has changed almost into a part-time job. Many AD's not only have to run quality athletic programs but also perform many other school duties. I believe that one sign of a quality AD is that every athletic team is successful, not just one or two. Although I also believe for any AD to be truely successful, they must have a quality football program. What do you think?

Yes the stadium looks like a disappointment. I know Coach Woods had to be expecting or wanting more. Who are the assistants at Carter now? I didn't know there was a big turnover in assistant coaches, I heard the Coach Woods was only allowed to bring one coach with him.

Littlejohn is fast. Not only that, he is a great kid. He will be successful football player.

Lambert at AC does a great job. Don't be surprised if he isn't the next coach from the AC staff to become a head coach.

Ratledge at Sevier County and McMillan at Central are two of the best around.

Mark Briscoe at Rutledge always does a great job running the split back veer offense.

Central or Morristown West have the best chance.
