Yeah they are. The Lady Warriors first game in the tournament is at 2:00 PM EST vs. Seminole High School, Sanford, Fla. The guys play John Carroll High School at 8:30 EST

I am not counting them out. I wasn't saying that they are making excuses. I was merely saying that they don't need to make excuses and play the game. There are more than just 2 players on that team that is all I am saying. It is easy to say well if we had them at full strength we wouldn't have 5 losses but they don't know that. They were beat at full strength a couple of times. They will be a major obstacle at MTSU in the Region and more than likely State Tournament.

I think that they will be a major factor in who wins the state. But they can't hang their heads or use excuses about injured players. They have to play with what they have and champions don't make excuses.

I stand corrected Shelbyville has lost 5 times this year!! They are 9-5.

I agree with you on this. 4 losses for the entire year maybe but not in the first 13 games of the season!!

I was merely going by records. Other than Shelbyville at 9-4, The rest of that district is at .500 or alot worse. They may have been traditionally tough just not this year.

I agree with that!! The teams that beat them were good teams. They play in a weaker district so they will be there in the end.

WHITE COUNTY HAS 2 LOSSES AND COOKEVILLE WAS THRASHED AT BEECH FRI. NIGHT GIVING THEM 3 LOSSES. RHS ALSO HAS 3 LOSSES BUT 1 WAS TO A VERY TALENTED BEECH TEAM ON THE ROAD! osbymartin...You would probably have to put Oakland ahead of Riverdale. They have only 2 losses and thumped Riverdale by 16. Oakland's other loss was by only 2 points to Warren Co. Riverdale also lost to Warren Co. by 2. Just my opinion. I know that Oakland beat Riverdale but they also lost to Warren County so I would put Warren County ahead of both right now. But Oakland hasn't really played anyone outside of those three games (RHS, MJ, and WC) They played two teams from Clarksville that are pretty horrible teams. Thats about it!!

I know it is the coaches and that is who I was referring to. I watched the game and they are a good team!! I just don't think they are a top 5 or 6 team in the state like alot of the polls that were on here. That is all i am saying. I am not geting all worked up. I just think that it is sad not to count the games because they sure would have counted it if they had not lost. Gassie is a good player and the rest of the girls work really hard or atleast from what i saw. To sum up all teams should either count all of the HOF games or count none. NOT JUST THE WINS!! This poll is a little wild. White Co. has lost twice. Wilson Central is "undefeated" (They should either count the loss to Riverdale or not count the win in the HOF game they had.) Pretty pathetic if you ask me, if they had won they sure would have counted it!!!!! Nobody is giving any love to Beech, they are a good team. They drilled Cookeville this past weekend and beat RHS by 7 in the championship.

I believe that he is a good coach as well. I also think that you have to throw a couple of other names in the ring as well such as Jill Prudden at Oak Ridge and Micheal Burt at Riverdale. Burt is a young coach that has accomplished alot in a short amount of time.

90 warrior, how can you not list Riverdale in that group. They beat Wilson Central and Bradley Central. Played a horrible game against Warren County and still came inches from beating them. I was just wondering if that was a mistake or not when you didn't mention Riverdale in your updated rankings.

I was there. They played bad and let Warren County stick around. Warren County hit a shot with 5 seconds left and Riverdale missed a shot at the buzzer.
