Willie Kemp is amazing and I want him in orange. He looks llike a college guard now with his ball handling skills and court speed. A lot of guys are fast and stuff but willie has court and basketball speed that very few have. As I stated earlier Willie is the second best player in the state in my opinion. Actualy he is now the best because Tyler Smith graduated from High School basketball a few weeks ago.

I have no reason to not like BA. My thing is that Wright did not blow me away. He is good but no way is he the second best player in the nation for the 06 class (maybe potentially though). When I hear that the player is supposed to be that good I expect to be blown away when I see him play. Wright doesn't do that for me. I see no way he is a lottery pick. Wright needs to go to college and improve his game. One day he may be dominate if he does. I was not attempting to down wright just stating my opinion that Niles is the better player at this point.

Ridgeway vs. Brentwood Academy: If they played everybody would see just how much better Niles is than Wright.

The best player in the state is Tyler Smith. Willie Kemp and Niles are tied for second. All this Brandon Wright talk is stupid. If you haven't seen him play then quit posting opinions on him. If niles and wright played head to head wright would be up in the twenty-third row of the bleachers crying cause he got ran over by a mack truck. Hopefully wright is better than what I have seen.

Tyler Smith got ripped off and anybody sitting close to me last night knows that because I yelled it out. The young man carried a decent basketball team to 2 region titles and 2 substate games. He would have been at state this year if anybody else on the team could score but channing cofey had the worst game of his season. Tyler dominated that game with 34 pts and he also had several assists and rebounds. Tyler dominated every team he played when it mattered. Sure he didn't score 40 every night against Lewis co. and Fairview but that is because he wasn't called on to score at all. When it mattered Tyler had 30 or more every time and carried his team on his back. He was they key to his teams state title run in 02 (but anybody who knows basketball would have to admit that Eric Howard, Triston Fletcher and Shay Shannon were also very instrumental in winning that gold ball). I agreed with 1a and 3a though. Tyler will show everybody what he is all about at Tennessee. I hope it will be at Tennessee that is

You are an idiot. When tyler actualy tried (which was in every game his team was expected to be challenged in) he was the best player I have ever seen in person. Tyler will be on the all conference freshman team if he goes to Tennessee.

I got to page at 5:30 so that I could sit in my normal seat which just so happened to be the spot Waverly picked as well. It's not my problem that you guys chose to sit behind the Giles section. That territory had been marked Giles co. first and Waverly tried to take over. The guy with the Atlanta braves cap even tried to have us moved by the Waverly cop. On top of that other than the loretto fans the Waverly students are the most uneducated basketball fans I have ever sat with. Several were talking about how poor of a player Tyler Smith is they and they complained that he was actually older than 18. Quit your whining. The refs did not cost you the game either. Get over it. Lewis co beat your # 3 which means at least one of our top 4 is better than at least one of your top 4, but according to you none of our top 4 is better than your top 4 except for Giles??????? Also if page and your # 2 Harpeth played 10 games each team would likely win 5. Giles is head and shoulders better than anything you all have. I will take our 4 over your 4 any day of the week.

giles will play on wednesday after they win tuesday which they will do. All of you folks are seriously kidding your selfs if you think giles might get beat this week. There is very little chance of it happening.

Hey the giles gym may be old, but i really like the atmosphere it brings with the all wood bleachers and everyboy being on top of the court is nice as well.

How is page high school's gym a dump? It is pretty nice, better than many i have traveld to. Granted it isn't the best but it is by far not the worst. I missed the memo on page and how they are so terrible. They were 3 for 21 from 3 last night. That does not happen very often. They had a bad night. I will admit though that it would have been hard to win even if they went 11-21 from 3. If page wouldnt have gone cold for the entire 4th quarter then they would have beat Lewis by 15. After all they were up 16 late in the third quarter.

I know for a fact that there is a picture of the smith dunk out there because my buddy taped the game form the second deck on the BA side and you can see the flash bulb go off from the area were the media was stading on court. I want a copy of the picture for sure because I am going to get smith to sign it when he comes to town next week.
