I would have to say that my favorite part of tonight's game is going to be when myself, the goat, Nugent, and Morgan walk through the maryville section and stomp mudholes and walk them dry!

You know, I think some of you guys may be right. Me and Nugent may have been a bit premature in our score for the maryville-Halls game. As gameday gets closer, I'm feeling a bit more nervous about the game. Readjusted score: Halls 20, maryville 10. Join all the reddevil fans pregame in the parking lot for a little food, drink, and fun. I'll be the one working the free chest-painting booth. All are encouraged to attend.

Best matchup of the week could be the hornets and the rebels. Carter has definitely improved and recovered from a series of loser-coaches in the mid 90's to become a respectful team. maryville still has pretty good players and coaches. In the end, superior talent and coaching will win this one: Carter 28, Maryville 17.

Should be an interesting matchup. If Carter can establish any sort of running game, Stanton will be very effective. Defensively, they can't afford to give up the big play against maryville. They were very much in the game last year at maryville before a turnover right before halftime opened it up a bit (best I remember). Either way, I'll be there with my wrestling tights on looking to greet all my maryville friends.

If you guys don't mind, I may just quit my job too and start showing up at every maryville practice. Maybe I can help you guys keep the stats or something. It'll be neat to finally meet some of you.

Questions: 1. How is Central's defense looking so far? 2. Can Fulton replace a multi-dimensional QB like Justin Long? 3. Who's coaching the defense at West? Last I heard they were having a hard time finding anyone.

I hope for the teams sake that GQ has come up with a different motto for the season that the fence leaners have. "Git R Dunn" is about as redneck, ignorant sounding as one can get. Although, on second thought, I heard the Morristown West coach used a similar motto after the season ending game for the rebels last year when he greeted GQ and the fence leaners after the game by saying "U R Dunn!" Beautiful. Go Mo West!

If maryville is the mecca for high school athletics and academics and produces such quality citizens, then why do all of the alumni do nothing but hang out at practices and make ignorant posts on here? I hope the average maryvillian has a much higher intellect than you guys display on here.

What did you say about Ron and the closet? Interesting. Are you saying that Pepvol is riding the mules now? I thought it was the other way around.

I just read in the Knoxville News-Senseless where Anderson Co. was considering cutting the assistant coaches supplements in response to budget problems. That should really inspire the guys to help Coach Shattuck out.

I am ignorant of knox co policies, but I thought a kid went to school where he was zoned to go. If he's a halls kid, doesn't he go to halls?
