  1. Upperman has a very solid team this year and from the one time I saw them play this year they seem to be very well coached and play hard in all areas of the game. Look forward to seeing how far they can go this postseason
  2. Wow very good numbers for one season, hate this game is so far away from middle TN. Should be a good close game
  3. Fixed it for you tradertwo, whose fault is it then? Say If a crime happens and several people see it but no one says anything but the same person commits the same crime again and again and finally someone turns that person in, is it the person that turns them in fault? Or the person committing the crime? Or what about the people that knew and never said anything? Nothing personal here, I'm a high school sports fan and have no kids and don't work in any school. I pay my admission at the gate like any other fan. Just pretty sad that most parents of kids are brainwashed and only see it for the way of heir kids team or school. Also kids getting punished for the mistakes of coaches is just sad, doesn't teach them the right way about doing things in life either.
  4. Please show the proof from that! Other than hearsay you can't! Everyone nearby has heard that rumor and I get it, it let's people point the finger and feel better about it being a rival schools fault for ending the season but bottom line is you have no proof of that and the coaching staff got theirselves in this mess by having 3 different kids move in to potentially play qb from 3 different schools. You don't think all 3 of those schools were equally pissed? Lol but nah you know for sure it was that one certain school because you HEARD it from someone that really knows. How about put the blame on the actual ones responsible for it and not at the alleged whistleblower?!?
  5. Good ol fight in a phone booth type of a game and even thou stone probably believes that's what they want to succeed, they might think differently after facing Marshalls front... some big boys up there, their strength. Weakness is in the back end with young guys.
  6. Congrats to Maplewood on the region title and to tuallhoma on a very good regular season. Maplewood has Dekalb county next and they should go ahead and start the running clock when the bus pulls up. I believe this should be a region sweep if MC can upset stone memorial.
  7. Wow, very sad for that kid and all of the kids to have their season ended by actions that petty old men made and they call theirselves coaches.
  8. Hmmmm....Maybe he was the one that reported GC? Who knows if MC was involved in reporting it.
  9. If Osteen did that, which he won’t because he isn’t an idiot or that petty, he would never have another job in the state. You clearly don’t know Osteen if you think he would lose on purpose.
  10. Everyone knows who the snitches are. It doesn’t surprise anyone. With that said, rules and rules and they were being bent. Pretty harsh penalty and unfortunately will make the player ineligible for baseball as well at GC and his previous school unless he changes addresses and moves to another non-Tennessee school.
  11. That would be really dumb to do as MC can move up in the standings.
  12. They aren’t banned from the playoffs if they still win the tiebreakers. Why talk in absolutes about something you clearly don’t understand enough to make such statements?
  13. Wouldn’t the loss to Whites Creek in the head to head be the first deciding tiebreaker?
  14. I’m certain it isn’t Wallace. There were others that transferred this year. Both kids from Alabama. Hate it for GC as a parent moving back is really outside the coaches control.
  15. Cody Jordan for Richland should be for class A.
  16. I think the Stars get it done. 61-56 with Jones leading the way.
  17. WC slamming the door to end the 3rd leading 52-37. Fountain with 18 including a dagger 3.
  18. Wartburg pulling away as we near the end of the 3rd 42-33. Langley with 15 Fountain with 13 and 6 boards.
  19. I think it's a toss up between Richland and Mt. Pleasant. After watching them play each other, Richland seemed to play timid and scared. Toby Frierson (Mt. Pleasant PG) is the best player on the court at any time. The penetration game that he has in unlike any other I've seen in this district in quite some time. Frierson scored 22 against the Raiders Tuesday, in an absolute clinic. I do believe Richland is the better all around team, however, if they play like they did Tuesday night, it could be a long season. Richland will be the team to beat at the end of the day I do believe, only time will tell. If Richland PG, Jacob Farrar, plays as poorly as he did against Mt. Pleasant it could be a long road for the Raiders lacking in the back-up PG position. Normally an above average player, and exceptional PG, Farrar struggled against Tigers aiding in the loss 50-47.
