I think it's a toss up between Richland and Mt. Pleasant. After watching them play each other, Richland seemed to play timid and scared. Toby Frierson (Mt. Pleasant PG) is the best player on the court at any time. The penetration game that he has in unlike any other I've seen in this district in quite some time. Frierson scored 22 against the Raiders Tuesday, in an absolute clinic. I do believe Richland is the better all around team, however, if they play like they did Tuesday night, it could be a long season. Richland will be the team to beat at the end of the day I do believe, only time will tell. If Richland PG, Jacob Farrar, plays as poorly as he did against Mt. Pleasant it could be a long road for the Raiders lacking in the back-up PG position. Normally an above average player, and exceptional PG, Farrar struggled against Tigers aiding in the loss 50-47.
