How did a thread about district 8A turn into one about a junior high player from Jackson Co.(which is in district 7A)?

This list is ridiculous. It's worse than last years all-district and all-tournament teams. And didn't Zimmerman miss like half the season???

You can't forget about district 8A either. With Gordonsville, Westmoreland, and Friendship district play is always tough.

No...coaches cannot vote for their own players, and although Moore was probably not the best player in District 8A, I'm not sure Jones was either. There are several players in the district that are just as good as she was. Jones was a better player last year than she was this year, especially the second half of the year.

BCC, I'm not sure who you are, but you are pretty cool. You sure do have your G-ville facts down! The only thing is, the Tigers beat Macon Co. by 50 when they scrimmaged them. But all that matters is what happens Friday night. And I'm sure you'll be there to support our TIGERS! I don't know about you, but I didn't think we were that ignant.

Well said UncleStimpy and BCC! This years team is much different than last years. All of the guys can shoot the ball outside, even the posts. But if Harville gets it, you know he's going strong to the goal. I don't think there will be any question about strength inside come Friday night. And most of our guys are averaging in double digits, that's balanced scoring. Just for the record, G-ville only has 1 loss. They are 15-1. And that loss was the very first game of the year. We all know Westmoreland has more than one loss(as stated by UncleStimpy.) Oh, Contact2004, I think you spelled athletic wrong. Hey, guys Good Luck! Go out and show them what being #1 is all about! Go get 'em #32!

Catalyst, if you take John out of the game then Harville, Grooms, Boo, and McCaleb will step up. Austin will have a ton of assists. You can never take him completely out of the game. He's just going to go to the offensive boards and will have several steals. Oh, and everybody knows your going to run a box and 1 like last year. Don't worry the guys will definitley be ready. They have been waiting for this since the 2nd round of the district last year. You can expect more than 4 points in the second half this year. I am not saying it won't be a close game but G-ville by at least 6. Good luck guys!

We'll see on Jan.23 who the top team in the district really is. It should be a good game, but I say G-ville by 6. Their defense will be too tough for the Eagles. They are looking to avenge their loss in the district tournament last year. Go get 'em guys! Good luck #32!

Setter1704tgr, I can't believe you didn't have more faith in us than that! I am just joking! I thought it would be a better game, too. We played really good defense and only had 10 TO's. It was a big District win though. What are your predictions for next week?

Gordonsville only has 1 loss. The losses to Clarksville NE and Pickett Co. were in hall of fame games and do not count on TSSAA's record. Pickett Co. isn't on G-ville's schedule either, that is just who they happened to play in the tip-off classic. Their record is 15-1 after beating Watertown last night. They definitely deserve their #1 ranking. They beat Celina bad the second game, and they have also beat RBS.

Dusty should be back in a couple of weeks. Although he may not be much of a shooting threat, he will definitely be a defensive threat. Guys, ya'll are doing great this year. Congats on being #1. You always have my vote! Way to go seniors!
