No other wrestlers transfered except for Johnson. Johnson was going 125 this year right between Mang 119 and Withrow 130. His competition for that spot was senior Andy Morris. It was the most competitve of all the possible wrestleoffs that Bradley had. Morris may have earned the spot from Johnson as they were very evenly matched. Johnson had more varsity experience, but Morris has been in the system for years. It effects depth in the event of an injury but makes little if any difference in the quality of Bradleys 125. Their matchups in the region as opponents this year will be fun to watch. They both could place in the state tournament. They are both quality wrestlers. Bradleys stable of young wrestlers is strong and Lake Forest has provided a good group of freshmen and has a solid group of 8th graders. Dont look for a drop-off any time soon for Bradley.

Spain is a good pick in D1. This could be a tough group. Havent heard where Brandon Wright of Houston or Franklins Kelly Felix will be at though. All three of these guys are tough. They fit somewhere in this 140-152 equation.

Mang looked good this summer and trained throughout. He will be very tough.

Hunter Randolphof Bradley returning at 103 after a dissappointing loss in the state finals last year. He has to be one of the favorites.

They dont touch the 2001 BC team that set the all time scoring record. Nor the 2004 team with the 5 state champs who finished 2nd at the VA Duals. This year would be a toss-up, next year BC wins it.........But....as I said in another thread, this is nothing but an opinion of who you happen to like best or which division you represent. There have always been great individuals and teams. Its not difficult to feel BC was better at times and vice versa. The polls have put BC ahead in many of these years so people do not have a difficult time thinking they were the best as you say. Why cant we just appreciate the quality teams we have in both divisions? The titles are recognized seperately anyway. At least we dont have to argue GAs 5 divisons or ALA,s 6 or however many some other states have. They are great kids that represent great programs.Baylor appears to be the strongest on paper this year and unless upset will likely get the nod from the states polls. As a BC fan, if Baylor goes unbeaten, Id say they deserve the ranking. The best comparison we may get is how they both fair against Collins Hill and Soddy Daisy. No need to say someone is moving up or down. I think Notre Dame and Knox C. will find plenty of competion.The competition is tough in both divisions, and, in any given year the best team could be in either division. To say anything else is based on opinion only. And you have a right to yours.

It was freestlye in memphis. yes he did. I saw Bundy a couple times this summer and hes getting better and better. Next match up if there is one should be a doozy.

It was tied at 2. He was riding legs, did get high, head was down, grabbed, and was pulled over the top into the pin. If you watched it, he SEEMED to be leading because he had not completed several deep doubles that Johnson fought off. He was understandably very disappointed because he had won a hard fought match at the duals against Johnson. Give Johnson credit for scrambling well to avoid takedowns several times, and taking advantage of Hunters head being down. Hunter has been working hard all summer after just missing. Hopefully he can get it this year.

Yes, he will be at 103, just a junior this year.

Those guys will be very strong. Pretty tough road trip you have. Im guessing you will hold your own however.

Here you go again RMC. We wont lend you a wrestler but I will lend you a "crying towel" to keep in your rear pocket.LOL. Im sure you will SCRAPE up a few bodies to fill out your PERENIALLY WEAK roster. I remember how "LOUSY" you were last year when you beat us at the Cleveland Duals. I used that same towel after last years defeat. Hope its your turn this year to use it!

Looks to be determined by wrestleoffs. There are several good candidates. Three have been with the team the last several years but unable to crack the line up. Also , a very talented freshman is probably going for that spot also. He was one of several very good Lake Forest middle schoolers who will join the ranks this year. I dont really have a dependable prediction for that spot. But, whoever gets it among those trying, will be pretty good.

Not for BC. He transferred to Walker Valley. Not sure where he will be at but probably at 125 for Walker Valleys first year in wrestling.

Bradley has certified most of their wrestlers. It APPEARS that some weights have definatley changed. Should be pretty strong up and down the line-up. Notables include Randolph@103, Mang@119,Morris@125,Withrow@130,Spain ceritified 145 but in all likelyhood will be at 152, Creagan certified at 152 but will likely be at 160,Heffington@171,Sively will likely be at 215. Couple of real good "experienced" Rookie starters to fill the vacancys(140,145,189). Should be stronger than last year with some first time starters who are veterans of the practice room who could very well place.

I will make one last reply. I did not insinuate that the privates would avoid it. It did NOT begin with the Lane incident as everyone assumes. It was well before that. Standing by beliefs and principles, even if contrary to popular opinon, is not ignorance. All these teams have great programs. I wish them luck.

Sorry, Didnt realize you were new to this thread. This is an annual discussion that seems to kick off this board year after year with nothing but the same old arguments. Each school and/or supprters argue good points on both sides but it in all likelyhood is not going to happen in the near future. It usually turns into a "were better than you are" war of words between each shcools supporters.Its based on opinions only that will stay moot because at least for now it wont happen .So, the thread and its same old arguments get old fast. The posts that immediately followed were typical repeats. But it is understandable that people want to see it. The reasons it wont happen are a long and detailed list that the Coaches of BC feel strongly about. The other side feels just as strong and disagree whole-heartedly with BCs stance. No winner in this discussion and no real point in a long and pointless thread. You are right in that it would be a great match. But, dont worry about the feathers they are still in place! You are also right in that I may be able to get something done(LOL)!

Are you Referring to the wanting a slam call? If so Im not saying there may not have been a few who were hoping to get a call, But I dont recall any coaches from BC or any of the knowledgeable BC fans thinking there was anything illegal. I can guarantee you no one would have wanted a title that way. We got beat by a better man there. I know our family left that night thinking of a few matches we thought we should have won or done better in but I dont remeber us saying we got shafted by a non call of a slam or any other decision by the referree.
