dont hold me to any for sure's but we usually have all the metro schools show up except glencliff doesnt come all the time, harpeth, bartlett, bolton, lavergne, springfield, hop town, creek wood, tsb, ncs, jp2, have been coming for the past few years so i'm pretty sure that's who will be there this year.

@ brentwood on the 10th @ overton on the 17th; Mlk and Nashville christan @ hillwood on the 19th @ ravenwood on the 24th : @ Ensworth on the 26th Lipscomb and Franklin @ Hillwood on the 31th @ independence on the 2nd also they will be Hosting the hillwood invite on the 6th and 7th and @ the bruin invite on the 13-14th

For all intensive purposses Hillwood's wrestling team is turning around, we do however have had 3 losses intead of one. One of those is due to not having two of their starters in the lineup that ulimately lost the match for us and we also lost to page by a few points. Justin is at 145 and doing very well. His only loss came from murphy from FRA and he is a state placer. No our team is not going to be contending for the region title but we have one of the better teams in recent years.

I know for a fact that Jp2's 215 won against william blount's 215. @ 135 Greenbrier beat hillwood and i'm not sure about 130 or 160

So your saying cope is going to wrestle at 125 by the end of the year?

The only thing that whites creek's football team can do better than hillsboro is there opening cheers during warm-ups. I think they warm there mouth up more than anything else. Hillsboro wins!!!!!

Since I have played both hillsboro and whites creek personally, I would say based soley on that that Hillsboro will win this one. They are more aggresive and dominate the line of scrimage better. Whites Creek is predictable they run one play to one side then do the exact same play to the other. They did this more than once last week. As long as hillsboro doesnt turn over the ball and keeps whites creek from kicking one of those onside kicks they will take this game pretty easily.

Sucking air... well most people for hillwood play both ways. Hillwood is one of the smallest 5A teams in the midstate if not the state. I dont care how in shape you are. If ur playing both sides of the ball and you have to make a 50 yards sprint on a play then ur going to be sucking air.

I could me mistaken but Your out of region games are decided by the coaches. I'm not sure How many teams are in Maryvilles region but i know Alcoa isn't and there are usually 3 games each year that a non-rgion games. Teams ususally sign a two year contract to play each other. At least that's how they do it in middle TN.

I would say yes at least on the visitors side. Metro teams dont travel well especially when it's as far away as Hickman County is.

Bad calls are appart of the game, no ref is perfect, and no player is either. But a player should not blame a ref for blowing a game. and I'm not saying that is what you are doing, but I have always thought that it is the players responsibility to make the game so that the ref doesnt have to make that call that could decide the outcome of a game. Players should look at themselves and not others. I dont see many refs on here critisizing how bad Both teams played last night, so dont talk about how you think the refs did.

All I am going to say on this topic is that If Hillwood stays healthy and I think for the most part they will, they will be in the playoffs. I'm not going to say at what spot but I think they have enough talent and commitment to make it in.

he plays summer league for the Brentwood Bulldogs. Their home field is Brentwood high and they play out of the MSABA travel league.

I'm glad that you don't go to my school, In the morning when we stand to say the pledge half the class doesn't even stand, and most of the people that do stand are talking and not paying any attention. It's a total slap in the face to those who are serving all around the world.

Hillsboro started Moody and he pitched 6 or 7 i cant remember the exact amount. then todd barnett came in and pitched threw the 13th and Vanderloop pitched the 14th For Hillwood Hedges started and threw 8 then Brandon Perry pitched the next 6 Between the two teams there were 40 strikeouts. hillwood pitchers had around 25 and hillsboro around 15

I only bring up the topic because Hillwood and Hillsboro played in a game last monday and they had the game postponed due to darkness at the end of the 14th so when Hillwood visits hillsboro later this month they will resume play in the top of the 15th. The game started at 3:30 and went to at least 7:15

I was just wondering what the record was for the longest High School baseball game, anyone know? And what's the longest game you have ever played in? (This is in innings not time.)

Wayne County wanted it more than CPA. They played extremely well down low, snagging almost every offensive rebound and limiting CPA's second chances. In my opinion some bad calls by the refs were made but i doubt it would of affected the outcome of the game. Wayne County has real good ball management, they are fluent with passes and they seemed to have a great for one another on the court. On CPA's side they did have a pretty bad night shooting the ball. It was a very good game and the score does not really reflect how close this game actually was. Congrads to Wayne County on the win.

Hillsboro has a great shot at winning it but i think Franklin will pull it together in the end. They are going to have to play with a chip on their shoulder or they will be going home early. Not to mentionthat they will have to knock off a Tough Hunters Lane team in the semi's.
