Dickson over Springfield by 4 Northeast will beat Kenwood (will be close the Clarksville schools play each other tough) Clarksville will blowout Henry County (HC has problems--from reading another post they are ready to hang their coach)

well the district is shaping up for Clarksville or Northeast to win it. Both have big games coming up against Springfield they should have very little trouble with the other district games on the schedule.

Big win for Clarksville last night.

They are always quiet over there when they lose! We only have to listen to them when they are winning!! Two big upsets for Springfield. Northeast and Clarksville are heads and shoulders above the rest of this region! They both just had bad nights against a HOT team. Dickson is the next best and the rest of them will battle for the 4th spot. I guess none of us will make it out of the region. Maybe Northeast, but it doesn't look like it right now. Where is the district and region tournaments at this year?

Embarassing! that is what it was. Northeast will win Dist 10 and Clarksville might make some noise in the tournament, but they really let me down the other night. Before you laugh out loud too much, maybe Henry County could win a game vs someone worth a ****

I doubt you will be going to Clarksville at least not Clarksville High anyway. I thought so, and I even said so once before, but after watching Clarksville lose to Springfield I would say Northeast will win D10 and then Franklin will end up going to Northeast or maybe Lavergne from D9. I still say it will be tough for Franklin to come out of the region. The district that they play in just does not test them. It shows when they get to region. But as Philly and Harrik will tell you, they are talented and will probably finish 2nd in region behind Antioch. Then we will see what happens. Good Luck to all of you.

I really don't care too much for D12. I am from Clarksville and I saw your team play Clarksville first game of season this year and last year in the substate game. Your guys play hard and are a tough team. I'm just saying that if Franklin played other teams beside D11 their record would be alot different. They should go out and play tough comp as you stated earlier. Northeast and Clarksville are both better then Franklin this year. If you make it out of regions then I will be in the gym watching vs one of these two Clarksville schools.

I was just going with one of the other Clarksville schools here. It is a two team race for 1st and then Dickson will probably get 3rd other then that who knows?

The competition each game is tougher in Metro and Clarksville. I'd like to know your record outside of D11. It would be interesting to see how much domination you've done outside of the district in the last five to ten years that you seem to talk about.

I was refering to the boys on the basketball team. I thought they did alot of talking before the Northeast game. Just my opinion though. I graduated from Clarksville High and my son graduated from Northwest three years ago. I pull for the Clarksville schools. At least the Clarksville and NE, NW. The older schools. I did not say your football team did not back up what they talked. I just got tired of reading how you were going to beat Maryville all year long. But Congrats on your good season.

Where is the district tournament this year? I see the final four as Clarksville, Northeast, dickson, and either Henry Co or Kenwood. I hope Henry Co doesn't make it so I don't have to listen to all of their fans talking like they are so awesome. Maybe I wont have to worry about it since I haven't heard from many of them since their buttwhippin' from Notheast

Remember that there are rivalries in Metro that Franklin does not have. No one in their little non basketball playing district can compete with them so when they get into region they lose. and if they don't lose there then they will lose to Clarksville High AGAIN!

If Franklin makes it out of the region, which is sometimes doubtful because they can't beat the Metro schools, then they will lose in the substate at Clarksville like they did last year. I expect to get Mcgavock or Maplewood though. Franklikn will dominate that little district then lose in the region!!

Henry County is a very average team. I was not impressed with them vs Northeast. HC has alot of talkers that run their mouths and do not back it up. It goes all the way back to football season. I love when they get beat. Who worth a you know what have they beaten?? no one 1A Waverly is no clarksville. Good Luck to Dickson!

What a joke of a game. I guess I was looking forward to seeing nothing when I saw Henry County play vs. Northeast. They were so outmatched! Go back to playing your little 1A Waverly and tell us about your great press. The clarksville schools are so much better.

well the clarksville schools are no Waverly. HC may be good, but not near as good as Clarksville and Northeast. I look forward to seeing HC vs Northeast next week.

I agree no excuse for a bad team. but it does matter for number of wins. I did some checking and Clarksville did get the 4 seed both of those years that you are referring to. However, they did not start their winning more games until the move out of 5A. The clarksville schools belong toghether in one region of 4A. You will have your certain teams that can compete, but not on an everyday thing in 5A!! sorry that is what I believe. Why don't all the Clarksville schools move up to play 5A? Why do you think? They want a chance and NE doesn't get that chance!!

I do not want to get on here and get on to coaches!! Northeast has many problems. The biggest problem is they are stuck in 5A and the only team in Clarksville that is 5A. THAT IS THE PROBLEM!! Look at what Clarksville and Kenwood has done since they left 6 5A! If they were 4A with the other clarksville schools they would be doing much better. You can even throw Henry County into that same boat. They are a good team, but they didn't do any good in 6 5A either!! That is the PROBLEM!!

Northeast is not that bad. They play up due to numbers that are not even here anymore. They played a tough Kenwood team to the wire

Someone explain to me. How is Henry County 4A??? I wish all the Clarksville schools could be 4A and Northeast gets the shaft. Why is HC 4A? if those numbers are right then I count 1435 students that is 4 less then what you have for Gallatin. That is more than Glencliff, Ravenwood, Brentwood and someother 5A's. Do they have to count what ever that Grove school means? If they do not have to count them, then that is unfair. They were 5A before. Did they make them count those kids then and not now? Someone help me with this one, but if those numbers on this thread are right, then no way are they 4A. They should have to suffer like Northeast and be put up in a higher class and have to travel places. I remember when Northeast was 4A they went 7-4 and 8-3 two back to back years. Now they have to go all the way to places like Independence and get beat. Someone explain!!
