Good to hear from the retired Irish dad. How did the irish look this weekend at McCallie? I guess we are still looking for Bartlett Dad. There have been no sitings of him since the Houston tournament. Just like a little life on the board. Of course Bartlett Dad provided some entertainment at the beginning of the year.

However, Medical redshirt is what they call it when a kid does not enroll for a semester or year after they have already competed and come back to compete the following year. This should clear that up for you. Are you a supporter for the Mt. Juliet Bears? I wonder how they are doing this year.

I came across this video of Kevin Ward of Ok State wrestling Greathouse of MSU. Good match. It did seem to show OK State is not in shape yet. I think they plan on having the boys ready for the Nationals as they usually are. Anyway, thought it was worth watching. Reftn, I was told Leen is taking a medical redshirt this year (I really don't know what that means). I believe he wrestled as an unatached wrestler at the ESO this past weekend and won at 149 lbs. I haven't heard how Manley is doing since he won the starting roll at Navy. I also heard Ray Dunning at Adams State did very well 2 weeks ago in the Wyoming Open and pinned the #6 ranked kid in Div I to take 3rd place. I saw Phillip Simpsons dad at the Hall of Fame Dinner and he told me Phillip is at the Olympic Training Center now. He will be posted at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs.

I would agree that cleaning your mats is a must for all teams though not as extreme as everyday so long as you have mixed some bleach with warm water. and be careful not to put too much bleach in the mixture clean clothes is a given yet to some people it may not be. and as for that really good physician all he has to do is show you that he is the #1 from med school and you will buy anything that he convinces you of, Because I wrestled since I was 6 and never got ringworm during wreslting season because i took showers everyday with what ever kind of soap. now some people maybe more sensitive than me but and if that is the case there is much good advice on this thread.

i dont think any one other than Manson can win D2 ow, and in D1 it should be anywhere from felix, bundy, ursy

If simpson was smart he would try to go 119 but that is if he can make it down there, from cbhs alsobrook should be back, Adamson should be good in d1, ryan konz from franklin should dominate.

umm bleach for ringworm is a little dangerous. if you have a cut/scratch near or on the ringworm then your face will be messed up pretty bad, just get some lamasil AT and follow instuctions, it is the best stuff out there. and for preventing it in the future make sure that your son is showering very well right after practice as apposed to showering after his swett is already dried up. Also make sure the his wrestling partner isnt giving it to your son that could be a cause. and for smelly shoes, first wash the dern things and next time after practice make sure that they can air out properly. and if you dont want to wash your shoes for whatever reason you can get anything from gold bond to hickory chips, there are plenty of solutions just ask your athletic store.

well at the state duals a mom cussed out the ref b/c he called a slam on the baylor kid. the opponent could not finish the match so the hurt wreslter won.
