p---lease! I most certainlly have been to LC games where YOUR crowd DID boo the visiting team coming out to warm up! And guess what, I doubt Doaks cares a smidgen if you are cheering hard for your team. Do you not think these young men are concentrating on the game at hand? To say he's not that good sounds a little green to me & I don't mean Lake County green!

But you can bet I'll be looking for the taunts in warm-up now. And yes the path was blocked. Leaving the game or not, the team should have been able to get to the locker room without incidents. And the people you say were leaving, took their ever-loving time to do so and continued to stand in that corner.

It will only get ugly if the fans let it get ugly. Like not letting the opposing team go to the locker room without harrassing them. Remember that nice scene? Where did that happen? Not at Trenton! By the way "bubba", I've been to most all of Trentons games & have never seen Doaks taunt anyone. He has been known to try to get Trentons fans cheering but that's it. That is not taunting! Have you ever seen Memphis Mitchell -----that's taunting!

If Lake County gets all the great calls that they got against Middle College, sure they will go all the way. Some of the calls that were made were appalling. Like when a Lake County player fell out of bounds holding the ball (and handed it to the ref) the possesion went back to LC! How does that happen? Typically it was the same ref making such calls. Don't get me wrong LC has some good players, but the game should be called even!

By the way Halls did not play their usual game. That was so obvious. South Fulton had an edge if indeed the Halls team is in the flu business. From the stands we were thinking, "what is going on with Halls?" And it is true the South Fulton fans were in amazement themselves as Halls had already been penciled in. South Fulton almost plays a helter-skelter game for the most part.

Hey redbirdfan, if you were surprised by Meece shooting from the outside then you haven't watched Trenton girls play int the last 2 years.

They have beat some good teams, but only after those good teams had a tough game the night before. Alexander is a good shooter, but can't carry a team & Cawthon usually gets into foul trouble.

Hey Sportsradio, blueatch2 talks more like a "fan" instead of someone in the know. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that a good player is made a great player with good teammates! It would be really hard for a great player to take her team to state with no one to assist in any way. That was Meredith's dilemma. The wins Bradford did have; were all because of her! Snow had plenty of help to make her look better. Meredith had none and is still a one-of-a-kind player. Obviously the Miss Basketball voters noticed! Hey, they noticed 2 years in a row!

Although I never said Clarkrange was not a good team, they should not have been GIVEN the game by such a call. 51 sceonds plus 10 seconds does not by any math equation equal 59 seconds! Nor am I a Huntingdon fan, just saying what I saw! By the way I had a birds eye view!

Does anyone here remember seeing the bogus call against Huntingdon in the last few seconds of the Huntingdon/Clarkrange game? Had it not been for the rushed 10 second/turnover call against Huntingdon, the Championship game would have been just what alot of people were there to see.....Peabody vs Huntingdon. Huntingdon got ripped off with inconsistant calls just as Peabody did. Way to win a game (or 2) Clarkrange!

NEWSFLASH !!!...........snow was in the air (and evidently in the refs eyes) and buffaloe chips all over the floor! Anyone with one eye and half sense could see the game was not called the same on both ends of the court! If it had been the game would have been a close one! If I recall correctly Clarkrange fell twice to Livingston Academy, same scenario for Peabody. Their only loses were to AA teams. So Peabody played the same type schedule as anyone else played in single A. Everyone at Murfreesboro just wants to see an equally called game.....then the best team wins. And no, I don't think anyone wants Coach Patterson back. The Lady Tide has the same type of coach with Coach Tommy Colvin and then some.

Indeed we will. Just hoping that other young teens see this as an eye opener. They just don't realize the finality of some actions. The heartache these families will have forever!

Sportsradio, you do call a great game. The most impressive about it is the listener can not tell if you ever root for either team. The game is easy to follow, you know just where every player is, who's in, who's out, everything that is needed to know. And for goodness sake you always say who is on top, not just the score is xx-xx. Not only do you know about the team you are there to cover, but you always seem to know all the facts of the other team & their coaches. No matter the area or district. By the way it is also easy to follow because you do not scream or yell & do not sound like you are calling a horse race or that you are an auctioner! Those announcers are hard to understand & that is when you just want to get the score & turn it. Keep up the great job!! We love to hear you when we can't be at the games.

You people are a little nutty. Nowhere have I bragged about GC. I said, "Anybody could bring home the gold ball. Not just the We're-more-special-people in Middle or East." I just stated that Gibson County has as good a chance as anybody else that will be in Mufreesboro!

NYJF, come on with the "whatever you say Greenfield is doing." And guess what, the refs have other jobs. You are so way off and speaking like a jacket fan who is use to seeing that type of play. I hate to use the word "dummy" but since you used the word stupid..... I was at the game & I saw what I saw. The players knew it & the coach knew it & if I knew it then the jacket fans knew it! ( this error in sending the wrong shooter to the line is not just a boo-boo from this game but goes back to past seasons) And guess what else, coach had time out to put another player in for the shooter because he had hurt his elbow. He then sent the players back on the court & the coach & players forgot who was suppose to shoot? I think NOT! Crazyboutsports has it right...... it was cheating plain & simple. Like I said before I was there to see good players play good ball!
