Not too bad when you are minus five starters. Rusty Chambers Tee Blevins Tyler McCann Cody Collins And possibly Mike Walsh. Now scoutman, you tell me Chambers' bat and glove wouldn't make a difference. McCann and Collins are solid in the outfield and hit the ball well. Blevins could be one of the best sophomores in years. Chambers led the team in hitting, RBI's homeruns last year. McCann, Collins and Blevins all hit over the .300 mark. And you replace these guys with freshman and sophomores. Gosh it so early in the year that no way can you tell who is going to have what. The fact that they played three freshmen and several other young kids amazed me that they could win the game. Give the basketball players a couplo of weeks to get back in the baseball mode and lets see how good they are.

I can assure you that Rusty has the highest respect for the Cosby players and coaches. He has always been very polite in my classroom and is one of the finest young men to ever attend school here. If this is #21 on Cosby I know that Rusty said you were one of the best point guards that he had seen play. The only trouble I have out of Rusty is making him be quit sometimes because he is always cutting up with the other students.

Out of everyone on that team, I really find that hard to believe.

I believe that Chambers quickness will cause them problems inside. He is a very tough player to defend one on one. Cosby did a good job in the second half but they had to double down to do it. And Holtsclaw made them pay.

Rusty Chambers and Chad Lewis Unaka second baseman and shortstop one of the best dp combinations I 've see. Both hit over .500 last season. Tough middle infield

You would have to add Rusty Chambers from Unaka to that list. He should be a member of the all-state team. Last night he put his stamp on a great career as a Ranger. I heard some fans say last night they wish he was 6'5 instead of 6'1 Heart sometimes means more than size. Cody Collins has had four great years at Unaka. He couldn't be more than 5'8 Can someone tell me about the new player for Unaka on the J.V.

King Brian, Is that anyway for someone associated with the newspaper to talk. You are suppose to represent the newspaper with honor and dignity but you are no better than anyone else. Face it, you go beat. Could the reason be they shot 35 foul shots is that Wartburg was hammering them all night long. They warned #44 two prior times before giving her a T on the third. Wartburg's problem was they tried to block every shot attempted instead of keeping their arms straight up.
