You dont think Grace is a top ten team in single A?

Thats just ignorant, Temple is 12-0 and just won a tournament in georgia against 4A and 5A schools. Im sure if Temple was out west and Lake Co. was in the East we would be hearing about how the Lake Co. couldnt compete with Temple. Remeber how many times you have actually seen these teams play before you say who they can and cant compete with.

Oh my here we go again, will this ever end? West tn vs Middle and East. West wins two state championships and now they are Gods answer to basketball. Are ya'll good? heck ya. But if you look over the last 10 years East tenn has dominated. So to think West is that much better is insane. Now the East does have some teams who limp into the boro with good records that are trash, I will give you that. But last year West tennessee's best team lost in the semi's. As a whole West Tennessee has more depth than the east, but it is ludicrous to think the best East tn teams cant play with the best east tenn teams.

I have a question for Humboldt fans that you all may or may notbe able to answer, but how are you all single A? Your enrollment according to the TSSAA website is 534, and the handbook says that A schools have enrollment under 461. Merry Christmas to the powerhouses of 14A.

Mayer is by far the best guitarist in popular music today. If you just listen to the pop stuff I can see why you would think that. Listen to the John Mayer Trio and it will blow you away, he is amazing. When its all said and done he may be number 1, because he is still in his 20's. But right now I would take Hendrix, Clapton, or Vaughan.

Some good teams this year. I like 8 teams much better than 6 teams from last year. There are some good matchups. You got to like Howards chances. It was a question. I figured they would be in it, they have been in it every year.

CSAS it gets crazy. Also Bradley, they are tough to beat at home. They have those crazy long home winning streaks.

How is Red Bank so high? I have them around 7ish in my poll. Who have the beat? Arent they like 8-5? You at least have to have Howard, ER, and Temple ahead of them

Both players are very different and very good. I wasnt at the game I was out of town but it sounds like both had off nights. Next time it should be different.

Im not talking about confidence or even being cocky which can be a good thing. Im talking about attitude that results in technicals, lack of disipline, and suspensions. Everything seems to have cooled down in Temple land. Most the facts have came out. Really the only questions left is what is Sexton gonna do.

Loves players with attitude? I dont think any coach likes attitude. No one wants to recruit bad kids. I know for a fact that Alex Wells would be getting much more recruiting attention if it werent for off the court issues.

I agree that Wells is the key to the game. Correct me if I am wrong, but he has been ER best player this year. If Grace can control him they are in good shape, if not they are in trouble.

Believe the hype, these kids can play. I think it would be interesting to see Carter guard Wells. About the topic McMasters vs Jurick. I have seen both play this year, and it is safe to say at this point in the year McMasters has played better.

This is probably (other than maybe Brainerd vs Howard) the game of the year thus far. We get to see McMasters vs Jurick junior edition. Should be a good game.

Notre Dame is better than Tyner. Also East Ridge beat Cleveland who is pretty good and they killed CCS. #4 is not bad for Howard, but dont worry T-mac, thankfully it will be handled on the court.

Here is what I got. Some records may be slightly off. 1. Bradley Central (9-1)- Without a doubt best team in area. 2. East Ridge (7-1)- The Alex Wells and Philip Jurick combo is as good as any combo in the area. 3. Temple (6-0)- Would be number 2, but they havent played a team with a winning record. 4. Howard (5-1)- Big win over rival Brainerd, but loss to Tyner keeps them from being higher. 5. McCallie (4-1)- It is strange when a teams most impressive game is a loss. 6. Grace (6-0)- In same boat as Temple, no real quailty wins. Very young team. 7. Brainerd (9-2)- Played Howard very close. Could suprise people come tourney time. 8. Red Bank (7-4)- Not suprised that they dropped. Still a good team, but lost alot from last year. 9. Notre Dame (6-2)- Huge win over East Ridge. 10. Hixson (8-3)- Strange team beat Notre Dame then lose to CCS. Others: Tyner (5-3), Central (8-3), Cleveland (6-5), CCS (3-3), Ooltewah (6-5).

Bradley is at least 10 points better than Temple.
