I think Monterey will be solid, they have seven of there starters back. RBS should be a better ballclub next season. Clay County should be much improve, with the edwards kid back. Jackson County will struggle early in the season, but will improve into the district tournament. Pickett loses a lot, and Clarkrange was much improved as this season went, but I do not know about next season.

This Friday April 11th & Saturday the 12th will be the 4th annual Alex Cassetty Classic at Jackson County High School. The tournament schedule will be: Friday April 11th 3:30 Smith County vs Watertown 5:30 Monterey vs York Institute 7:30 Jackson Co. vs Wayne Co. Tenn. Saturday April 12th 10:00 Jackson Co. vs Smith Co. 12:00 Monterey vs Smith Co. 2:00 Monterey vs Wayne Co. 4:00 Watertown vs Wayne Co. 6:00 Watertown vs York Institute 8:00 Jackson Co. vs York Institue As one can see there will be a lot of good baseball. There will also be a fish fry dinner starting at 4:00 to 7:00 saturday April 12th at the Jackson County Middle School Cafeteria. I hope there will be some good weather, and hope to see you at the tournament, to remember a fine young man, and see some good baseball.

Has the Pickett/Monterey game been switch from the original schedule? If it has when and what time

Man it sure is tough to practice with the bad weather. Monday was a great day to practice, but the rest of the week has been awful. Anybody, have any scrimmages coming. Jackson County goes to Cannon County tuesday. We have only done a little work on defense. It is also tough when the basketball team, is having a great post season. Go BLUE DEVILS on the court, and on the field.

Josh Denson Jackson County. He has started for 3 years at centerfield for the blue devils. He gets a real good jump on the ball. Also lead off hitter for the blue devils. Two time 7-A All district player.

University of Tennessee's defensive end Xavier Mitchell came to Jackson County friday night to speak at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes 5th quarter following the JC uppeman basketball game. He did a great job sharing to over 140 folks about having great character in your relationship with Christ. He was also very humble, and many autographs, and had pictures taken with a lot of people. The thing that impress me the most about him was that he did not speak about UT football, he spoke about Christ and the impact he has made on his life. God was in the house!!!!
