i dont know exactly what was said between the player and ref in question other then what i heard second hand. however, i can personally attest to the fact that after said conversation, the ref vehemently saying "i already told you i didn't make a racist comment. if i did, i'm sorry" as he walked to his starting position. the apology didnt seem to be sincere at all, and was witnessed by most of our team. the fact remains that there should have been NO SITUATION involving the supposed gear worn by a certain race of player. not only is it unethical and very unprofessional, but seriously, how is a player supposed to react to a racial commment from an authority figure? I wont add anything about the refs performane in the game, and neither should anyone else, there is no question about the judgment of the game. the only problem here is the judgement of a player.

We (Tullahoma) played at JPII last year...... the field is definantly one of the nicest we've played on.

hey ###########(edited by reqeust), you know about karma, so just remember that next time you start saying things like that. i'm sorry you may have lost respect for the team but we have gained the respect of many others by playing OUR game. as i recall we had some incidents last year during someone's senior year with some of your class and coacht.com. we play hard, smart, and most of all fair, if thats not respectable to you then i am inclined to acquiesce to your proud dissassociation from our team.

Last year, Tullahoma's losses were Shelbyville 0-3, Lincoln County 0-1, Columbia 1-2.

#21 and #10 (forwards), mostly they target 21 with several short passes who then tries a long pass to #10. Those two also like to switch positions alot to try and throw off defenders.

Tullahoma played Lincoln County last night which ended in a 3-0 victory for Tullahoma.

mark is back in full swing now though, and too bad for bates looks doesnt mean skill. but anyway, where does he play?

I'd have to agree with jcblz1987, Mark is hoss. period. He's a great player, and you can tell he plays with heart as well as ability. This kid plays so hard, a coach once told him to go into this guy twice his size and tackle hard, less then 5 mins later, Mark is at the trainers with a broken leg for giving it all.

Tullahoma played Lincoln County tonight for Tullahoma's first district game. The game started pretty slow, but quickly became a match of which team's crowd could yell louder and which team evaded the most fouls. After several vituperations during a rather bellicose game, Tullahoma finished with a 3-0 victory.
