We played Sheffield last year at state. They were ALL internationals, and are very intimidating. They have EXCELLENT individual skill, but in our game, didn't seem to gel well as a team. One of our strikers had an incredible game, and we ended up winning quite handily. SocBlue4, I'll be the ugly old guy with a visor on. Stop by and say hello. Just remember, LA, I called your success months ago! Thanks for making me look like I know what I am talking about! Good luck vs. Sheffield. They are a good team, but I think you can take it!

On a personal note, Grace Golden Eagle, your not helping too much. Let your soccer team earn its respect on the field (which I believe they are doing). I know you are a huge fan of your soccer team, but what you are doing seems to just be inflaming the situation. Just my opinion...

I said a month ago that Livingston Academy was going to make it. Great job LA, and we hope to play you on Thursday.

Show Grace some respect. They have proven themselves to be one of the top 8 teams in the state. You might not think so, but they have done what they needed to do to get to Memphis and I congratulate them on their accomplishments. Grace, we will see you Wednesday night!

Of course Grace has a chance. All of the teams in Memphis deserve to be there. We are not overlooking Grace by any means. We have heard great things about them, and look forward to playing.

Yeah... it was really ugly. I think I got 2 inches of air, and I landed on my head, which is already sore from a "certain individual" spearing me with a corner flag. Hope to see you tonight, LC soccer, and you can fill me in on the "disciplinary" things from LC's defenders.

I guess he doesn't want the bus lag thing affecting them. I will be interested to see how they bounce back after last night. Believe me, we know how that feels. Farragut really put a hurting to us. It is a hard pill to swallow, but you need to learn how to deal with those kind of setbacks. Flag me down before the game tomorrow, unless you bring your "coaching I.D.".

Did you play under Corey Johnson? He and I are great friends... He and his brother went to Georgetown. My assistant (Michael Anderson) is a Mo West grad. He has changed a bit since he played there, though!

LC just didn't have the fire that they usually do when they play us. I don't think that it will happen against Elizabethton.

Even though they are not really in Knoxville, I would put LC in the mix to Memphis.

Lenoir City gave us a very clean very hard fought match. They played with the UTMOST class, and never gave up. Things just clicked well for us, and it didn't seem that LC could get in a groove. They have a lot of talent, and should not be underrated. You have not seen the end of LC. Good luck at sectionals, LC.

Ahhh, it will be touch and go all night. I LIVE on doppler on game days. (In between posting of course) I have a feeling it will be like 2003. (Though I did like the outcome of that region final better than 2004).
