Clarkrange should win by 10..Clay Co. is still tough this year and could be the number 2 team in the district..Coach Sims alwasy has his team ready to play, but i think Clarkrange is the better team this year..I just think the guards for the buffalos will be too much to stop..i expect a big game from cravens and ramsey.

Clarkrange wasn't very good when pickett played them..but it appears they have turned things around and played close with a very good cchs team.

hey bballfever..no lance ain't related to josh...i assume u are talking about josh wright..josh is the younger brother of justin wright who graduated and played for pickett co. last year..nathan aaron is playin ball at Freed hardmen now..lance beaty actually quit the ball team in the middle of his senior year, but he was a really good ballplayer and could have played college..josh wright is really good too..how's halls doin this year? they still got strayhorn right? he's a baller.

Alan Asberry from Upperman..Derick Ledbetter from York..Daniel Meador from RBS..Al Harris from Austin East...and the 4 jrs from Pickett Co..Nathan Groce, Lance Mason...and Josh Wright and Joseph Bailey are the best i've seen play..i've not seen the delks or tyler smith play..but i think joseph bailey from pickett co is underated, he should be one of the best in the state.

1st team...Snow, Ramsey, Cravens from Clarkrange..Cook from Pickett Co. and Rich from Clay Co. 2nd team....Sara Sells And Lindy Mason from Pickett Co..Amber Strong from Clay Co..Miller and Swafford from Monterey..the Colter twins from RBS are in the mix too.

I agree with Big Jack..If u schedule a team that is alot better than u, u are prolly gonna get drilled..If u are a young, or weak team, schedule not district games to ur level that will give the kids a sense of competiton..I do however think that if u are on the winning end, u should use ur subs..And the subs have every right to play hard..Keep in mind, they are playing for every minute of playing time they get...But as a losing coach, u should not ask for any breaks because it is ur job to get ur team prepared to play..

Boyd Christian is lousy..LOL..Westmoreland should have beat them badly..I've heard they are lookin tough this year..Hope to see them play in regionals..It would make for a great rematch with Pickett from a couple of years ago.

I think RBS wins by 15+. Monterey is in a rebuilding year and RBS is the top dawgs in 7a until someone beats them in a tournament. I'm not sure if losing Heady will hurt or not..In a sense, I think RBS will be alright, because they have a great core of players there..However, with the close battles between RBS, Celina, and Pickett, losing one player could be the difference between first place and third.

Clay Co. reallys plays well as a team.I think their coach has to be the best in the district..Even though Stephens had most of the points, each player played a big role..that was probably the most dominating performance by Chase Stephens of the year..I also think Clay Co. has a great freshman in that Rich kid..I'm not for sure if he's a freshman but he looks like one..lol..but he came in and gave a big spark to their team..Bailey had a great 2nd half and Nathan Groce shot the ball like we in pickett co knows he can..Luke Mason played awesome defense, but that's nothing new..What really impressed me was when he took the ball to the rack..Lance Mason had an all around game and Josh Wright played a big role in the win as he helped contain Stephens in the 2nd half and his rebounding often gets overlooked..Great job and good luck to both teams..It should be a tough 3 team race in 7a.

Pickett should win by about 15..but clay co. could easily pull the upset..with clay co. pickett co. and rbs, any team could win on any given night..but i think it comes down to pickett and rbs for the championship..pickett should win this one by 15 if they play well.

Joseph Bailey and Josh Wright from pickett..Meador from rbs are prolly the best all around ball players...Stephens from clay co. and hudson from rbs are good too.

RBS is tough..they should beat HS. by 15 or so..Meador helps rbs alot, so without him they aren't as good..even 3 losses in a row is nothing to be worried about..they have already showed by winning district last year and by beating pickett this year that they will be around for the long haul..they should still be the favorite to win district cause they already have a leg up by beating pickett once this year.

what do u want me to prove cross?? stats are just stats? i'm not sure how the 2 stack up on stats and that don't even matter..both were good players..just stating my opinion like u did..u can never "prove" one player to be better than another..just by watching both play i gave my opinion which is what the post asked for.

matt barlow was better than chad watson.

Joseph Bailey from Pickett Co is the best 3 point shooter i've seen this year..He hit 7 in the 1st quarter of a game this year..Josh Stephens from York can shoot it too..Marcus Hudson from RBS is a pretty good shooter too. those are some of the best shooters i've seen this year..And while we are talkin bout 3 point shooters, big props to Nathan Aaron from Pickett Co out at Freed Hardemen. He's having a great year and is prolly the best shooter i've seen period.

I think York wins by 10 if the offense shows up..they haven't been able to put points on the board the last few games...Ledbetter will be too much for Dekalb to handle

that's not called for..clay co. will be alright..they will be tough come tournament time..so don't be on here talkin smack..u beat them this time..but might have to play them in the region..and vb hasn't made it out of region lately so don't get too cocky.

tennisguy...lol..yeah..i was in that game.and we might have started it..but it's not cool to come after us with like 8 pickup trucks of guys while we are at a restaurant...lol..j.k..man..i though everybody had forgot about that game...and on the subject of monroe co..i was at tghe last games we played each other...we won big on our court and lost on theirs..the refs were horrible..but their is no excuse for blowing a 20 point lead..however it is the responsibility of the refs to keep the games in order..letting the play lead to fights is a poor excuse for officials..if any kid gets hurt because a ref can't blow a whistle or refuses to because it's at a teams home court should quit their job and take responsiblity for their actions...i'm not sayin pickett don't get calls at home too...but the level of physicality isn't the same as it is in ky..that being said..if the refs let their team gett rough, they should let our players get rough and not call touch fouls..if they call it both ways, then the pickett players should step up and be physical right back...but the problem has been that monroe co gets away with anything and then they call touch fouls on us..

Bailey had 20 for pickett but didnt' play at all for the last quarter and a half after gettting a technical..dustin mitchell had 20 for the bobcats and this is the 2nd time that i know of he has had 20 this year..he will help the bobcats with his size and shot blocking if we are to advance to the state this year..it was an even played game for everyone on picketts's teams with all the starters having big nights and with mitchell and staton having a huge impact off the bench..clarkrange appears to be down alot this year..they played pretty even with celina and made a run on pickett, but i don't think they will be a factor in the race with pickett, rbs and celina.

Hensley had a great game..She could have had more points, but just barely missed some shots she usually hits..I think the big difference in the game was red headed post player for jackson co..(childress???) brown had an off game, but anyone who';s ever played basketball has those..what's up with the guard for york not wanting to shoot.? if they play with confidence, they could be as good as jackson co..i think the difference is that jackson co has won, and york hasn't really experienced that kind of success..they have got to be fearless and step up and win games..u could tell that no one on jackson co was scared to take the shot when they needed to, but that will come as york gets better..i think it will be a closer game next time these 2 meet, and one of these teams, along with la could be playing for the gold ball.

Mathis was the best player in the district til he got hurt..now it is probably ledbetter..but he didn't impress me with 5 points against jackson co..granted he did have a ton of blocks and boards...Alan Asberry is the best pg in the district hands down..Cates is prolly 2nd and Choate from york gets my third pick..Bobby Knight has the potential, but i don't think he's there yet..didn't really impress me against york.

i think rbs will win by 5.

I don't think either team played up to it's potential in this game..Livingston really did good late in the game but both teams played sloppy in the first half..baltimore and thompson shot the lights out for livingston..thurman also played a great game..livingston just dominated york on the boards..on the bright side for york, i think beachboard will be a miss basketball candidate and she got outplayed by brandi brown...york really has somethink special in that girl..anybody got the stats for the game??
