  2. Let me see how can I describe me here..... /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Aunt Kim , A very talented, athletic impact player (from the sidelines /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> ) but definately loud and happy person who will do her darndest to make sure these ladies have support from the audience wherever they happen to be playing....How's that? /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  3. Forrest has done the Wayne County Camp for years. A couple of our girls were missing though...however we are having a real good camp. I was there last night and was impressed with their play. Coach Jean has just been with these girls a very short time and of course there is a learning curve for both team and coach. As of last night we had only lost one game and had beaten Wayne County, FRA, Lewis Couty,Adamsville and others I am not sure of. Believe our loss was to Dresden? Anyway we will attend the Eagleville camp nest week and then I believe are going to go to Trevecca's Camp. Busy time! Again I would like to extend my welcome to our new Coach and let the ladies know all of their fans are there behind them and ready to cheer them on.......GO LADY ROCKETS!!!!!!!!
  4. Well I certainly understand the young ladies' desire to play with the best....and I wish her the best.....both JC and Clarkrange are quickly becoming all-star teams and this does make it incredibly difficult for typical Class A schools to compete with them, but we will sure give it our best!!! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  5. Just want to welcome Coach Jean to Chapel Hill and Forrest High School. He definately is inheriting a class program with tons of community support....to say nothing of the talent of these girls. Best of luck to you and certainly to next years' season!!! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> GO LADY ROCKETS!!!!!
  6. What a great achievement by the Lady Rockets Softball team....Gaby, we missed you at graduation but I am sure you just had one of the best presents ever in being a part of another State Championship!!! Wow!!! What a day for you ladies!! What a team!!!!
  7. Listened to the game, screaming all the way.......so proud of you ladies.....bring it home to Chapel Hill!!!! Congrats on your wim tonight and lets have one more victory tomorrow. You are almost there!!!! Go Lady Rockets!!!!
  8. Congratulations to the Lady Rockets of Chapel Hill and the Lady Dawgs of Cornersville!!! What an accomplishment, not only to have had 2 teams from Marshall County at State in Girl's Basketball but to follow that up with 2 teams from Marshall County at State in Girl's softball, says a lot for the work ethic of these ladies!!! Again, good luck to both teams, hope you carry it deep and it's a playoff between you two teams for the State Championship, how cool would that be!!!!! My heart will always be with the Rockets of Chapel Hill in any sport....so Go Get EM Lady Rockets!!!!!!
  9. I went to Forrest High School this morning to watch these 3 fine young women sign with Vol State to play basketball there next year. I would like to congratulate them and wish them only the best as they continue not only playing basketball but furthering their education......and I know I will be splitting my time between Forrest basketball and Vol State basketball!!!! And yes I shed a tear or 2 because I was so PROUD!!!! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  10. CAT, I don't know you personally but after reading these posts I do know one thing....you are a very special athlete who not only represents her family, school and team with class, but is an example to us all about something that goes much deeper, a special person who happens to be a great athlete. Best wishes on a speedy recovery and your continued success in college.
  11. Congrats Lady Rockets on your win!!! Keep it rolling /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. Hey LovethoseRockets, hope to see you at the softball game on Tuesday.....ought to be a really good one against Cascade!!! Go Lady Rockets!!!!
  13. Hey Cascade11...I know this isn't girl's basketball, where I can usually be found /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> , but just wanted to say what a great job you do promoting sports over there in Cascade!!! Especially wanted to congratulate the young pitcher on her accomplishment...2 perfect games against any team means HER team was "in the zone"!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  14. Sorry about your injury Pageman and hope you are good as new real soon! Sorry to hear about your mother in NC also...spending time with aging parents is one of the greatest gifts we can give them! You take care please and I will hopefully be seeing those informative posts of your next season! Take Care, auntkim
  15. For the majority of the game, the refs let BOTH teams play and there were not many fouls called....I believe where you are seeing the disparity is when , at the end of the game, Milan was fouling on purpose to try and regain possession. Both teams played a very good game, Marshall County held on for the win and I am thrilled for them.
  16. Congratulations to the Marshall County Tigerettes on a GREAT game tonight ......was awesome to watch. Also to Milan and their Seniors..great game. To the seniors for MC, best wishes as you move on to the paths you have chosen.... What a great way to end your high school years!!!!!! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  17. Coach Reasonover is going to coach Middle School Boys Basketball at Forrest, the schedule is a lot less demanding than high school. He has two young children and I know between the games and practices, it sure infringes on family time! Anyway I wish him the best and thank him for all the effort he put into coaching these girls!
  18. Well, I listened to the game between MC and McMinn last night and I was hopping up and down for Marshall County....Forrest's neighbors right down the road!! I really believe that Marshall will bring the Gold back and I will be there cheering them on!!! Hey this is the same team that won the Silver last year!!! Sounds like Milan is a very good team and very athletic from everthing I have read, BUT so isn't Marshall!! Bring your A game tonight and win the AA State Championship!! GO TIGERETTES!!!!!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Gotta add Good Luck to both of you and play injury free!!!!
  19. I really don't know a "scoop" so to speak...but I believe Caoch Reasonover will be coaching Middle school Boys basketball next year. I know the demands on family will be a lot less as the Middle school schedule is no where near as full as the high school one. I would like to extend my thanks and best wishes to him for the hard work and hours he has put in over the years with the Forrest Lady Rockets!!!
  20. Thank you for your comments about these young ladies from Forrest. I also have been priviledged to have been around Lauren, Jessica and Mckenna from those "Flash" years. How fortunate we all have been as parents and an aunt /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> to be a part of this special group of ladies here in Marshall County!! The group from Forrest brought home the Gold Ball 2 years ago, Marshall brought home the Silver last year and now this year Marshall has the opportunity to bring home the Gold ball! I know I will be in the stands tonight cheering on Marshall County!! GO TIGERETTES!!!!
  21. Cascade11...you are one classy guy, best of luck to your programs over there in Bell Buckle!! Stang and Devilish..I can see why JC does so well with support from fans like you!! Wingman you are a "man of few words" but make your point every time!! Buffalofan...thank you and best wishes to Clarkrange against Bradford (wish I could see it)! Senator, I have never met you and I don't cook much, but if you ever want a ham and biscuit, I'll stoke up the fire for you!!!! Take Care, auntkim

  23. Congratulations to Misti Maxwell from a Forrest fan on making your 1000pt.....I was sitting in front of your Dad and when you made that milestone, he let out a whistle to end all whistles!!!! 24. Ayla Young is planning on playing for Vol State next year also..... I guess I know where I'll be...bouncing between Vol State and Lady Rocket basketball !!!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

First of all I would like to extend my congratulations to Wayne County for their hard fought victory over Forrest this morning at State......good luck as you contiue on against JC on Friday. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> For a few minutes there at the end of the game, I thought we were going to pull it off, made it exciting. I have got to say a few things to the 6 graduating seniors on the Lady Rockets..... Ayla Young, Dakota Wesson, Blair Foster, Gaby Bussell. Alyssa Gugger and Kensie McKee. I have watched you since those days in Elementary school... you won the Middle School State Championship and then the TSSAA State Championship in high school, then back to back Elite Eight appearences, to say nothing about District and Region Championships, all I can say it WHAT A RUN THIS HAS BEEN!!!!! The really awesome part is we have a great core of Juniors, Sophomores and Freshman who are poised to take us right back to State!! I'll give an early cheer for next year (GO LADY ROCKETS!!!). I just wanted to say THANK YOU!! from the bottom of my heart for the thrills and awesome memories.....Best Wishes to all of you as you graduate!! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> love, auntkim
