Great game tonight by the Lady Rockets!!! I did not know that Summer has signed with Freed Hardiman! May I extend my congratulations to her. Watching her play over the last several years has been a real treat...she is such a team player and so many comment on what a great student, athlete and person she is....that is awesome!!! Good luck to the Lady Rockets as they take on Summertown tomorrow night.....you ladies are looking sooooo good!!!!! Go Lady Rockets!!!!!!

I REALLY miss reading pt12's breakdowns of the top teams /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> ....there was so much thought put into those posts and pt12 knew basketball......I know how much work that must of been....but darn it I want pt12 back into my Coacht life!!!!!

Well Flash49...Eagleville is coming off another win over Richland ( 3 this season ) and they have played MTCS close.....only losing by 2. However they have struggled in this District and only won 1 game...so all that being said, I feel the Lady Rockets are certainly the stronger team and should take care of business.....but had better come to play, Lenker was on fire the last few games for Eagleville! The Lady Rockets have been playing some great team ball and are only getting better every game it seems....I am SO happy we are playing tonight, what else would I do on a Friday night??? Personally without knowing the facts, but just using plain old common sense......why would any coach break an obvious rule (like having the girls live with her...like no one is going to find that out? /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" ) and jeopardize not only her career but the whole season of her team....seems kind of farfetched......in my VERY humble opinion. But who knows.....strange things happen in the quest to win games in high school sports.....either way best wishes to the team as they deal with these allegations.......

Hey 11!!! I think the fact that MTCS has beaten #4 Cornersville ( a very good team ) twice and beat Ezell Harding $23 once and played Forrest close is part of the reason they are considered a pretty good team. Quite frankly I was surprised when they lost to Van Buren, but Community is really coming on strong lately!!! I think Cascade has the talent to win tonight.........Good luck to both teams!!!!!!

Hey ya bLuIe!! It was a very exciting game to watch......Beth Hawn ran into foul trouble fairly early but I believe overall the refs were fair and fouls were called pretty even. MTCS jumped out to an early lead but Forrest closed it up and had the lead at halftime, but not by much, 3 pts I believe. I don't think MTCS lead in the second half, but each team played great defense and scoring was tough to come by for both teams. Interesting like you said both scores were the same.... /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Take care and see ya at Regions!!!!

We have a "highly anticipated" District game coming up with #4 Forrest going against #9 MTCS on Tues Jan 6th. Emotions will be high as Forrest is undefeated in District play and MTCS has 1 loss to VB. I can't wait for this one as both teams will be playing their hearts out. I think Forrest will pull it out though as we always seem to find a way to win, particularly during the second half of the season, when Forrest historically has found their "groove" /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Good luck to both teams.....play injury free.....and GO LADY ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!!

I think the Lady Rockets had better come to play because it appears that Community is coming on.....their win over Sante Fe was a quality one. I believe the Lady Rockets will be too intense for them in the end though and I see the Lady Rockets with a 10pt win!!! Congrats to the Lady Rockets, you ladies are playing some real "in your face" tough defensive basketball, (#23 from Cascade is a heck of a ball player). I was real surprised by the outcome of the Van Buren / MTCS game also. I expected MTCS to come away with the strong win. I appears that Van Buren lit the sky up with the 3"s....... congrats to them on a big win!! As Flash says keep it going Lady Rockets and Good Luck!!!!!!

Well so far Forrest over Van Buren....... Cascade over FC Boyd......and MTCS over a pesky Community and Eagleville has not played a District game yet. I feel Forrest handled Van Buren pretty well last night and were up by about 25 in the third and then Coach Jean played his bench for most of the 4th quarter and the score closed up a bit. Beth Hawn had a ballin' night with 28 and was on fire when she was in and right there Summer Waggoner had a great night too with 18....no better post combo in the Region for sure and one of the best in the State!! Ms. Grissom from Van Buren is a VERY good player and will surely keep Van Buren in the thick of the District play. There is also a strong post player (Delon ?) who had a good game. Cascade wasn't tested much against FC Boyd but I would have liked to have seen the game between Community and MTCS....I see where MTCS shot the lights out of 3's but Community just wouldn't go away.....looks like some tough District play this year!!! Good luck to all teams...stay healthy and lets play some basketball!!!!!!! GO LADY ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!

These ladies from Vol State are a blast to watch and are just scoring machines....... as the teams offensive avg is a whopping 85 pts per game after 11 games, of course I am a little prejudiced towards them also as 3 of the Lady Rockets from Forrest continued their basketball at Vol State!!!! GO Lady Patriots!!!!
