So it's kind of like playing the lottery. I'm not saying that's what will happen but that's obviously what they think with the formula they came up with!

That's so true I know any team can win on any night. I guess my statement was more geared toward, I think it is highly possible those teams could beat Maryville. I think it is a lot less likely the other teams I mentioned would beat Maryville. I know they are good, I just want to know how good. Hopefully we get that chance. I would love to come out their later in the playoffs. It would be a lot of fun!! Good luck to y'all hope y'all continue winning and I hope Riverdale does to so we will get the chance!

Yeah but that same Smyrna team is a million times better then they were at the first half of the the season. They lost to us (Riverdale) by I think 7 pts.. Every other game has been a loss les then that. So they have never got "whooped". They are a very good team and should make a great run in the west brackets. They had 4 OT games and that's where part of their losses are stemming from. Now for me on the other hand I'd love to see Riverdale go on and take out Maryville before meeting Smyrna again in the state championship. Now that would be ideal:) just a thought. But if anyone is taking Smyrna lightly out west because of their record, they are going to lose. & Maryville aint everything. Back when I attended Riverdale 02-05 football seasons I would have gave anything for Maryville to have been 5a with Riverdale and for us to have taken them out in the playoffs. We finally have a team that can do it, that is all I will say on this subject. All of Rutherford county is producing football teams above normal caliber!

Wow how did I disappear after writing a statement like I did..good thing I'm back. All I'm saying is I believe this year Riverdale and Smyrna could beat them. I would love to come to Maryville in the playoffs so please someone make my dream come true!! But if Maryville beats Riverdale I'll leave it to Smyrna to take care of business at state. This is not Maryvilles year for another state title... Glad I cleared that up!!

I don't think Maryville would beat Blackman, Smyrna, or Riverdale. Maybe Oakland and Siegel and definitely Lavergne. However I do think Oakland will beat MJ. I may be all wrong but I guess we will see.

Coach McDaniel was my English teacher at Riverdale 03-04, I highly doubt he would care that much to have someone post this, and really that doesn't seem like him. He is actually a really nice person!

I'm not making excuses, it's all the truth. Oakland is a good team they may not have the record mj do and mj may be the better team. However, Oakland is good enough to bear mj and I definitely would love to see them do it!

Honestly, Oakland is pretty good. The Riverdale game might not indicate it but 2 of our touchdowns came off two turnovers in the redzone. I bet the one with Trey Swader never happens again he wont allow that. That wasn't our great defense that caused that it was an accident on him receiving a punt. He is a great returner as he had that huge return against Smyrna for a TD. So really if you take away our 14pts that we got off that and the other fumble it ain't a beating. If they hold onto the ball they can do it. I think their defense played well against our offense. I know our QB got a couple of good runs but most of our offense on running was off of a couple big plays. We weren't able to get much yards on most of the runs. What I'm saying is I think the is 50/50 match up. I think both teams have their strengths and weaknesses. To say that mt Juliet is clearly the better team isn't so true. Oakland can win so as far as the person saying this is as likely as you winning the powerball then let me know the numbers you had in mind because it's alot more likely then most would say.

I'd love that!! I want to play QB or WR.. I think I could handle those positions quite well!! Then again I'd love to be a DB and take some of those players out.. I think I could be a hard hitter lol. I don't want to play RB because I'm Bo legged and pigeon toed, I want to get half way down the field before people watch me run away with the ball lol.

I'm really hoping Blackman pulls out the win on this one. They were a very good team and were in it till the end. We were expecting them to run on us, well because of the injury they threw on us. Several good receivers like Jalen Smith and a few others. They still had some other good runners as the previous person said like I-trains brother!! Anyways.. I'm really wanting a Riverdale v Blackman rematch so all the Blackman fans (mainly there students not the knowledgeable people on here) can quit saying we only won because the train was out!! Good luck to both but I'm pulling for you Blackman... No injuries for eitheir!!

Obviously Riverdale game should be a cake walk and if it's not we don't deserve to continue lol. I'm taking Smyrna, they seem to be doing well. As far as Oakland, hmm they have speed on offense and defense. They can't have the stupid turnovers like they did against Riverdale. Even when we would get the ball and seemed to have break they had the speed on defense to run us down even if it was a huge break. Which was impressive. I'm pulling for them but they have to play well an not only not have pointless turnovers but their defense needs to create some mistakes on Mj's end! I have no comments on the others as of right now

I'm so happy for Smyrna, and I'm confident they will take the win!! Y'all looked really good when I went to the Oakland game. And y'all seemed to be doing fine against a good siegel team! Keep up the good work!!

So I sit at the top, or shall I say stand. It always happens to be right in front of the opponest press box.. So anyways Oakland had several coaches in the box but they also had a man who stood beside me like the whole time in front of the box and they were talking plays the whole time!! Ha a couple of things that came out his mouth... These guys aren't that good were going to win Then my favorite, if we play them again and Dillion fakes it we are going to hit him in his mouth every single time ; every time. They also were talking about which side to run on and all that good stuff for when they play again. I think they may end up going in the west bracket, but I was saying I didn't want to play them 2 weeks in a row. Now I changed my mind, I would love too!! I know so much about them.. Anyone else want to know holla at me!!! Lol I'd love to give it to them again!! Our defense looked pretty good. Our offense had a few good plays but I don't think they played consistently well! I'm not worried I know we will get it together.. I'm ready for playoffs!
