I am not worried because everyone knows your basketball is good yes, but, they are going down hill. Science Hill is still good and yes they beat us, but even you know we are on the rise and beat you guys at every level of basketball this year. We are going to be competitive.

Your boy did not do so hot during the DB game either. It was cold the ball was stiff and only a few passes came his way. He dropped two. Lamon is not scred trust me. As for coach Clark coming to the Hill and winning a championship, no. He would never, and you have the same talent we do, just a bigger student body. You have a good basketball environment, we have a good football environment. We breed football, you breed basketball. We will pass you soon in basketball though, then you will have little to brag about.

We will see who wins tonight. I respect Science Hill basketball, but I think DB wins.

He does not have to waste his energy on Science Hill, our second string usually does that. Last year was close, a fluke though. Usually our JV could beat your varsity.

Like I said DB is a multiple threat team. We don't have to throw to one guy like Science Hill. If DB played like you guys, Lamon would have 2500 yards, but wait we have many good football players; unlike you do. We can also run the ball. You are just mad because a 15 year old got All American over your Senior............cry on baby!!!!

This kid has not shown us anything yet, so wait until August until you brag on Anthony. Just because he is 6'7 means nothing. He could be a clutz under pressure.

I bet Dobyns Bennett has the biggest true high school gym in the state. It is a dome that surely seats over 5000. The gym is only for the high school, not like a civic center or anything like that. The gym is attached to the school itself. They take very good care of that floor. Anyone else seen the Buck Van Huss Dome?

You guys have not beaten DB and you are mad because DB whips you in every sport. ESPECIALLY when you guys think you are so good at football. Sound familiar, because now you THINK you are good at basketball. You guys are gonna be so down in years to come, so you should kiss up to everyone now.

There were only 6 passes thrown during Science Hill DB Lamon did not have but 2 balls come his way and one was too high, the other fell short. We ran all over Science Hill. Don't you know your stats. And chantz is not faster by a long shot. Chantz gets almost every pass, no wonder he has yards, but you see a good eye knows this. Hence Lamon All American chance not. Bye Bye Go and cry

Longsnapper if you have seen Tech and CNC play you would know why CN beats IAA teams whenever they meet. Tennessee consist of #1 UT #2 Vandy or Memphis #3 sorry to say is CN not UTC or Tech or ETSU. You just don't know your football. CN usually recruits major prospects out of Miami area that could not play at a major college due to grades or ACT being borderline. CN is able to pick them up, where many larger state schools are to strict. CN therefore has more talent getting through a loop hole that Tech can't. As far as pros go there have been more from CN than Tech because CNC has excellent connections with scouts and they know of the talent CN gets from Miami. Face it, you are just upset that an excellent smaller football school would whip up on your mediocre unexciting Tech program. You could not pay me to watch Tech [Edited by bud on 2-11-03 4:09P]

Red Flag seems like he is jealous that SH is having a down year in basketball. DB has the football, cheerleaders, dance, track swimming, and just basically dominates in most sports in upper East Tenessee this is true, not to mention academics. There is not much left for SH to brag about other than a decent wrestling and baseball team. Oh I just thought of one!!!!! Johnson City is 3rd in the nation percentage wise in something, what is that? Oh yes I remember, and maybe you are in that percentage because you seem to like to go on DB's thread and cry. Start your own thread. You are jealous of DB as many others are in TN. SH will just never have the following or tradition of DB, though basketball comes close. PS, I get to witness SH getting thrashed on a regular basis by most any DB team in any sport; or even academic competition for that matter. Science Hill had a one dimension threat (Chantz), remember DB had several weapons to spread the offense. Lamon did not get near as many looks. Per throw to receiver Lamon was dominant. I have seen both, Lamon is on another level, that is why he is All American all state. Numbers can be deceiving, you gotta look deeper.

I will agree with Lamon Williams. I have seen West, Middle, and East, and there seems to be nothing that can touch him. He will only be a junior, but he gets my vote as the best receiver in the state. You gotta watch this guy.

How many times have you filled your stadium or been to a National championship game.........................exactly!!All respect to Brandon Waters, but you can't compare tradition at Tech to tradition at Carson Newman. NFL players; CN has had more than Tech I promise. If you would like to post another thread titled that it will only prove you wrong my friend. UT, Vandy or Memphis then CNC as far as pros go. CNC gets more attention than Tech. Get over it!!

CN is an awesome team with tradition and awesome fan support. Tech does not have that, I know I have seen them. They can never fill their stadium or be in the top ten. Carson Newman would stomp an average rated Tech team. CN is elite dII tech is average AA. Ken Sparks is an awesome coach that refuses to move up though he has had offers. CN has a better coach. I would rather have a chance to play for a national championship for a school that cares about football than Tech.
