    Milan may not win another game this year… I know they have players out, not very good right now.

    Lake is going to wish they were playing that game with Gibson tonight about halftime instead of playing this Peabody game... Peabody by 35....

    Who do you all have out? I watched ya'll against Peabody earlier in year and thought to myself then that ya'll were good enough to beat anyone around. The Haywood score surprised me a bit.

    If Milan loses this game... looking at a 3-7 or 4-6 season... It is interesting to think about with all of the money invested into the coaches and facilities... and the talent on that team.

    Refs….? They barely even threw their flags tonight. And you turned the ball over 3 or 4 times.

    A fun game to watch as a fan of the game. Simpson put on a show, Peabody’s studs delivered… couldn’t have asked for a better game between two teams that are fun to watch.

    Both teams win tonight if no fight breaks out in the crowd....

    28-25 Peabody… and Milan just passed up a FG opportunity from the 2 yard line and got stopped on 4th and goal. Now a roughing the passer on Milan gives Peabody an automatic first down.

    Does Milan not have a kicker to kick that FG and tie the game?

    And then the two point conversion goes to the other side of the field…

    Ok… I’m impressed with that play there. Why not give him the ball more?

    Ganaway is the best player in this game. Capable of taking it to the house every time he touches it.

    Doesn’t Milan have a guy who is going to the SEC or something like that? The best player on the field appears to be wearing a Tide uniform.

    I checked my history and I stand corrected. It appears to me that everyone is looking at the South Gibson job for what it is right now. I’m looking at the job knowing the capability of Embry as a coach and what she can do with that program. If she does wind up going there, South Gibson will be really good once she gets her program and system established. That will take a few years.

    USJ and Dyersburg is not a better job than South Gibson in my opinion. It may be a little more money but that’s it... Dyersburg is a rebuild situation. USJ is out of Jones sisters, don’t offer financial aid to athletes. Webb (Bell Buckle) is about to be really good in Division II-A for the next few years, going to be hard to beat for a state championship. South Gibson is young with talent. Only district competition is South Side. They have a chance to be in sub-state next year for the first time in school history. They have a great middle school program/situation. A thriving community.... South Gibson may not be as talented as what Summertown was this last year, but she will establish her system at South Gibson and win big.

    If you want quality coaches, you have to pay what it will take to get them there. South Gibson is figuring this out the hard way...
