Well seems to me that the past few years have seen a different region champ each year...And with the defending region champs Red Bank returning pretty much everybody I will have to say that Red Bank should be the early region favorite.. Playoff teams Red Bank Cleveland Walker Valley Rhea or Central........

So what your saying is that you are not crying and whining and the you throw in the comment about not having your starting pitcher,1st baseman,or your shortstop...Sounds like whining to me...IMO......Whether or not you had those "KEY" players you more than likely still would have lost the game.....And then you say you didn't care about that particular game? Sounds like you guys don't have your priorities straight up in Bledsoe county....District game or not you want to win and don't use that lame excuse again how it wasn't a district game and you didn't care...I bet the players cared and wanted to win! And if you are a player then your coach needs to give you some bench therapy for having that kind of attitude.....maybe then you will start to care more about the games you play and want to win whether its a district game or not!!

Ok ..that comment just seriously degraded any credibility you have of the game of softball.....I know a few single A ballclubs that could hang and even whip the AAA teams,excluding soddy and goodpasture and a very few others....But for the most part regardless of classification any team can beat just about any team on any given day...Just depends on if things are going good for your team or not and if the other teams having a bad day or not..........And that whole I bet if we played now comment is just hilarious...Why can't people take their losses and move on????

Boyd is one of those teams that isn't afraid to play anybody regardless of classification.....I can't wait to see the finished product of the new and improved swamp ..........The war ships are ready and the cannons are loaded..time to set sail on new waters in 2A..new lands and new foes await ...One strong and talented fleet of Buccaneers with Admiral Akins at the helm...His mighty Buccaneers fearless to any competition that sails their way.... Catfish I have come to the conclusion that you are a person of great wisdom when it comes to high school football and have to agree with your list on the most part except for two choices 2A will be Alcoa's to lose but Huntingdon will be right there ion the thick of things 4A Maryville is the obvious pick ,but Knox Central had one heck of a team returning as well as the rebels..I believe that Central or maryville will be the next 4A state champ..that is all....

Wildmanfan has it right...OR and OHS will be the top dawgs in 2-5a this season Soddy and Farragut will fight it out for the final two..and one more thing to all of you Owl fans..How is it you seemed to turn this Soddy thread into a how good Ooltewah will be thread? Ooltewah returns almost 95 % of their starters from last season...and now with Benny at the helm this team has all the firepower to make it to the boro for a title shot..Cookeville as well has a load of talent ...Game of the week for week 0... My prediction is a slug fest with The Owls victorious.... Ooltewah-27 Cookeville-23

Just for the record ..I can and will adverstise Price as a great coach!!!He has had success just about everywhere he's been...I am glad coach P has found a home in Coffee County and people that appreciate him...To bad you folks in Bradley didn't realize what you had in Bill...Good luck coach P and to all the Red Raiders ..hopefully we will se each other in the playoffs..Soddy vs Coffee...

saying Soddy is overrated in Softball is like saying Riverdale is overrated in football...It just doesn't make any sense!!!Coach Kirk gets the most out of his players and might I say they are that dang good and still a moderately young team...Good luck to al the girls and coach k...bring home another state title!!!

I would love to see the top teams in east tn in one region...How awesome would this be..Think about it? Dobyns Bennett Oak Ridge Knox Fulton Knox Central Maryville Austin East Alcoa Ooltewah Soddy-Daisy Boyd-Buchanan Tyner Farragut all in the same region for a couple seasons...Would that not be some of the best high school football ever to be played...Your thoughts please!!!!

We know you meant no harm hitman....By the way do you play or did you play for RB....They are definately gonna make a bigger impact in 4a this year with all those freshman and sophmores coming back.......

No doubt about it..Soddy will continue their winning ways this up and coming season..and ofcourse as usual the region title will come down to 4 teams ..Ooltewah,Oak Ridge ,Soddy,and Farragut...but watch out for McMinn they might steal a victory from one of the 4 horsemen of 2-5a...

All i know is that Rhea has owned White Co...in the past when they have played... Red Bank Walker Valley rhea CO. Cleveland are your playoff teams this year in 4-4a...

Two Names you will be sick of seeing this year....Oak Ridge's Spencer Gulmire and Ooltewah's Dewayne Caldwell...to excellent backs....Spencer is a power runner and caldwell is a speedster that will break your ankles again and again

Yes Alcoa can be beat...The Bucs play up to the level of competiton..no matter what classification...Robert Akins has his troops believeing they can beat anybody and with that attitude they can!!!i can't wait to see them play Fulton which is gonna be one fantastic football game.....GO BUCS!!!!!!
