The way I see it, Coach Wells from Campbell Co. is a LOCK for this award, statewide. CC has never had a winning season and obvioulsy never been to the playoffs....and were 6-3 playing for the 2 seed. Hands down Coach Wells

I haven't seen Riverdale play, but I played DB and just can't see any team beating them. Unless they just completely choke, I think they'll beat Riverdale. I don't see them choking because they seemed to have had some strong senior leadership to go along with the talent.

This is a huge game for both teams, I believe the winner of this game gets the #2 seed. Karns will be happy after the overtime thriller with Science Hill, while Campbell Co. must rebound from the big loss to DB.

Wow...didn't quite expect this turnout, but thats why we play the game right. I'm not trying to downsize DB at all, but we had planty of opportunities early in the game to actually make it a GAME, and we just couldn't capitalize....missed tackles in the backfield, blocked punts, everything. DB is a great team that should win the state, unless Riverdale can do something with them in the semis. This bigeastguru guy is an idiot, Lamon, Duran, and Hayes are all GREAT players....they could all get full rides to CN, and play very early. I don't think their going to do the regular DB thing and cruise through the regular season and then get beat in the playoffs, they're too tough this year. Good luck to em

I just got back from this game and I gotta say, Karns is prolly the most 1 dimensional team I've ever seen. They had the lead late in the game and Science Hill came back, i thought they were gonna give them a dose of what we gave them last week. It looked like Sciece Hill was giving up at the end but they came back. SH should have scored in OT but they dropped the pass to tie the game. I don't think Karns completed a pass all night.....Lookin forward to next week.

I don't know if there's any way South Doyle can make the playoffs but i know about the other teams. If Karns, Jeff and Seveir ALL win out and CC loses out, then those 3 are in and CC is out. If any one of those teams loses 1 game, then CC is in no matter if they lose out or not. If Jeff, Seveir and Karns all win out then Jeff is out because of head-to-head with Seveir, and Karns has a better record. I believe this is all right...correct me if wrong.

No, we haven't seen the kind of speed that DB has yet this year...but that doesn't mean we won't be ready for it. Some teams may be intimidated by DB, the #1 team in the state, but thats just something we're not...intimidated. We'll be ready to play come Friday, and we know DB will too. And wow, the Red Sox just won the pennant...unbelievable.

What are your top player's stats as of now....the Knoxville News Sentinel doesn't ever have DB(or Science Hill) stats in the Prepxtra.

Campbell Co. is giving up 11.5 ppg with 4 shutouts and allowing 155.7 ypg. Not a single player on the defensive side of the ball weighs more than 200 lb's....
