To think Maryville was not tested by playing Alcoa is a stretch. I think they just rose to the test as they will on friday.

Union County will never be the class of the district and will not compete with the Knoxville teams in football for atleast 10-15 years. I'm not being disrespectful but they just don't have the football background. They just started playing middleschool football a few years ago. The families and fathers don't know alot of the sport because they haven't been around it all their life like other communities. And lets face it, most of the people in the community don't care about it.

Yes on the same field, it's a doubleheader bowl game. Your right it will probally be more around 8:30. I just wanted to make sure I was giving them plenty of time to get there in case something happened. On the hand both teams that play before them run the ball alot, so time will pass quickly.

This is one of those strength meets speed games. Bell is very strong, and Central has alot more speed. It is the second game of the night, should kick off at 8:00 or close to. Middlesboro will kick off at 6:00 pm.

I live very close to the Ky line and I know alot of people don't know about Bell Co. But this game is being billed as one of the best games to see in the state of Ky. This will be a true test for both teams to see how good they really are. I wasn't upset I just wanted to let Central fans know what a great game this really will be. Don't think that it is a long drive because you can make it to Bell in about an hour. I can't wait. WHAT A GAME IT'S GOING TO BE!!!

Fans better get pumped up for Bell Co. Ky. Last year they were the best team in the state in AAA football. They dropped a heartbreaker in the semi's. Their AAA is AAAA in Tn. There are one of the most disciplined teams you will ever play. They are the hardest hitting team anywhere. You better get ready.

Biggest flop of the year is hands down the five Rivers conference(I-MAC). From top to bottom may the worst in the state in 4a. I know that you were looking for a team but here are a few.

I'm sorry no matter how many times I here this $$$$ for play I don't believe it. You may not agree with the system he his running with the two backs, but he playes more players than everyone else in the region. If they went to players playing both ways how many of you would be on here complaining? Having said that I don't know if they would be better or not playing the best on both sides of the ball , that is another topic. But I do question that parents $$$$$ for playing time.

I love the excitement in your writing, however reality bites back and LC you will get bit Friday. Fulton will win and not much LC can do about it. Fulton is that much better than you, sorry. I do believe that you will have a great year and a improving program but not to that level just yet.

I mention this in another post at the beginning of the season, the conerstone for west was the defensive coach that left the squad. He was truely the best coach on the staff (including Woods). They miss his leadership and he kept Woods in line. I have seen this , I played for him and he has my respect in the things that he has contibuted. They will need time to adjust. We can't expect the same team as last year we graduated way to many, just face the fact that we may not be as good as we were last year..... right now.

Watch out for Woods and game postponements. He is a wizard at throwing your schedule off. However, Maryville would beat Mo'town if they played in a swimming pool. Maryville buy as much as Quarles will allow.

LC @ East? Will the injured be back? Can East win?

Can the Canes put one in the win column this week? What does LC have? Will some of the injured players return for East? This may be a make or break game for the season, one hates to be o-3 going into the region. Cocke Co. is a better team than last year, and East could be looking at real trouble with the 2nd half of the schedule unless things turn quickly.

Film doesn't do size and speed justice. #5 can fly and they have a lineman as big as anyones. Team speed for clinton is not a problem. I believe clinton is still adjusting to the new system. With a few position changes they can be a very good team. 10 should go to Qb 5 should have the ball in his hands as a running back. The big man on defense should move to left def end, he could shut down a complete side. CC don't think that this will be an easy task. Clinton by 6
