  1. there is a (sill be) Sr. from Sumner Co. the 3 year old school Station Camp. he is #3 Will Anderson.. he is a great qb... just no one to throw to, so no one will see his potential till he walks on some where
  2. Wilson Central has lost a fantastic coach. Coach A was a big reason for the Hendersonville high turn around. then he turned it over to Robert Lassiter (current gallatin head coach) who then turned it over to Coach hatfield (current hville coach) Iv heard a rummor that alexander would sign on with the new sumner co school, station camp any ideas if this is correct.... anyone
  3. when i posted what i posted above, it was not an excuse for the coaching staffs of the effected schools. my point is as follows: #1 NO coach would knowingly play an ineligible player if he knew they were in eligible.... everyone agree? #2 there must be something in the paper work precedures that in unclear, if it only happens once every other year or so, i could understand the mistake. however atleast 4 teams in 2 years have been hit with this, it is happening too often just to be a simple mistake made by a coach. also look at the coaches this has happened to, Robert Lassiter of gallatin, i know him personally, and he is NOT the type of person to let something like that slip through the cracks. Coach L is a perfectionist and knows the situation at all times David Pack of CPA also know him personally, he is the same way as coach L. they know what is going on..... so i dont believe its entirely the coaches fault this keeps comming up every year.
  4. what is the big deal with the TSSAA doing this to all of these programs... where is the miscommunication with the coaches? this is about the 5th team that has been forced to forfit atleast one game due to an ineligible player.... how can this continue to happen, and what can the coaches and tssaa do to prevent this.... bc in every case iv heard of the player in question played with no bearing on the outcome of the game. Once again tssaa is showing how much they truely are in shambles, they cant even communicate with coaches which players can and cannot play. its pretty rediculous in my opinion
  5. the playoff race for region 4 2A is pretty much wrapped up 1 Lipscomb 2 Goodpasture 3 East Robert. 4 Station Camp lips, is locked 1st in no matter what goodpasture has westmoreland and stew. Co. so they should win out E.R. has a bye week then Westmoreland so should finish 3rd SC has lips. and then houston Co. so for station Camp one win and their in.... or a westmoreland loss to East Robertson in week 10 ** NOTE: if Station Camp makes the playoffs... they will be only the second program in recent history to make the playoffs in their second year of creation.... Murfressboro Blackman is the other Congrats and Good Luck SC.... GO BISON PRIDE
  6. Blackman was the only one i could think of, however.... i dont think you can count PJP II.... EVERYTEAM MAKES THE PLAYOFFS
  7. In recent history..... 1980- 2004....... how many 1st - 3rd year programs have made the playoffs or won a region championship. A new school out of Sumner Co. is getting some press time lately, and they are olny a second year program playing against a few very established teams. Which sparks the question.... who if any program(s) have made the playoffs within their 3rd year as a program?
  8. Beech just cant stop sawyers..... iv sceen better D's try.... and didnt accomplish it. sorry bucs..........better luck next year COMMANDO PRIDE ALWAYS
  9. this game will probly determine the 4th place in this region its a great opportunity for Station Camp in their second year as a program to make the playoffs , would be a tremendous help to their cause plus help recruiting i think.
  10. hopefully HVEGAS beech isnt very good this year, but it is one of the hottest rival games in TN.... so records are thrown out the window
  11. Jeff Heatherly of Hendersonville is the best iv ever heard in high school, college, pro.... he is awsome
  12. i think that the rotation idea is a fantastic one... it could get more of a fan base in the two outer sides of the state..... how many people would drive 4 hrs to watch a game that their team isnt playing in.... i wouldnt. east- middle- west-east-middle-west...etc. Knoxville (UT, but im not sure they would let it happen) nashville (MTSU, VANDY, or even the collosium) Memphis (MEM. liberty bowl)
  13. hopefully SC will win... this would be a great opportunity for them to get a Region win. E.R. is a great team so this will be a good challange. SC is a little banged up with Inj's dont know about E.R.
  14. PC will be mad after last week... besides Stratford beat them 20-0 last year.... PC will be up PC 21 Stratford 14
  15. i think HHS will win.... HL isnt a great team Hville's Offense is in a great rythm.... 42-21 Good luck Coach Hat. COMMANDO PRIDE ALWAYS
  16. Hendersoville lost to Smyrna by a TD but had the ball at the S. 15 in the closeing seconds in week 2 they lost to rhea co but also had the ball at the RCo 16 so 2 losses by 31 yards COMMANDO PRIDE ALWAYS
  17. The inj. was a partial MCL tear. grade 2 out of 3 according to the orth. surg. he should be out anywhere from 3-6 weeks depending on rehab.
  18. Cheatham Co. is having budget crises Reportedly the first cuts are to me made in the areas of the athletics deprt.. namely the coaching staff's salaries of CCHS and Syc. also reported that if these budget cuts take place the head coach and his staff of sycamore will boycott the remaining games.... according to the players and coaches. Can anyone confirm or denie this... or help shed light on it? the website for more info
  19. Middle for football, it seems like the East teams never do well in the 3rd and 4th rounds of the playoffs.... but ill say if it were asking about basketball.... west is pretty tough.... especially shelby co area (Memphis)
  20. #2 Hamblen was hurt early in the game so he didnt play but maybe 3 plays also he should miss 3-6 weeks due to the inj. SC was missing 4 starters i believe however the stats are as follows for SC: BOX SCORE SC 0-6-22-7=35 WHH 0-3-0-0=3 #24 Buck: 105 yrds rush td 2 sacks 1 punt block for a td 1 fumble return for a td (not a bad night) also #5 Cannon had 93 yrds. #12 Jackson (2nd string QB) 52 yrds passing total offense: Rushing 311yrds pass 52yrds total 363yrds
  21. On any given Friday, anyone can beat anyone..... Riverdale is a sound team... but nothing is unbeatible
  22. SC is terrible.... id be surprised if they even win..... they were demolished last week by Goodpasture(who isnt that good themselves) SC has scored 12 points in their last 2 games.... and given up 41 for those math types there being out scored 20.5 - 6 per game WHH 28 SC 6
  23. well, like said earlier.... it will be close... HHS 17 DCHS 14 COMMANDO PRIDE ALWAYS
  24. TC, is a great team... however not much depth. they are a wide open offense that likes to run out of shotgun mostly.... and i think their Def. is a B+ i think TC will take portland.... 24-7 Good luck to both teams
  25. to the above post.... thats nuts i think around the 4th flag or so, i would have taken a knee just to end the maddness still impressive though
