  1. First of all, let me say thank you to every football player on this years team. It was one heck of a ride. When the game is over though, what is left? For these young men, they have bright future ahead. These are some of the finest young men that I have ever had the privilege to be associated with. Their parents should be proud. Football is about winning and losing until the last whistle blows. Then it is about what kind of person will that LB, RB, QB, DL, etc. become. These GHS players will be fine. For those of you guys who read this post, thank you. Thank you for the comradery you guys showed on and off the field. The silver ball is not what we wanted, but know that no one can take away what you have done. I will miss everyone of you seniors, and I hope to stay in touch with you all. You guys have given me so much, and I thank you for it all.
  2. I very rarely post on here, but this subject hits home for me. It would be very difficult to find a better man than Coach Brimer. He is one of the best coaches in Tennessee. He has done many things for GHS wrestling since he came to town. Besides the wrestling accomplishments, he makes every young man that has had the priviliege of being coached by him a better man at the end of the day. I have had the privilege of knowing coach, his wife, and all of his children. I can honestly say they are some of the finest people that i have ever known. Any accolades that he garners as a coach are well deserved. I would like to thank Coach Brimer and his family for all that they have done for me over the past few years. Congratulations.
  3. Number 15 from Elizabethton. He is a great receiver.
  4. Greeneville High School, Class of 1999 Football 95-98, OL/DL Undefeated Freshman Squad Undefeated Regular Senior Season Best Team IN School History Austin Peay for two years before being injured Won a lot of games, some personal awards, but most of all had a heck of a time
  5. James "Little Man" Stewart, Morristown West Jason Whitten, Elizabethton These guys were also pretty good.
  6. what do you think about this one?
  7. Greeneville should get this win, as well as the conference title
  8. Greeneville played smash mouth football all night long. They came out with a purpose and played with passion. Greeneville is a force, and I hope the rest of the state is ready cause here comes the devils. Devon Jordan played a great game at defensive tackle, and Lollar ran for 170 yards. Washington threw the best ball that I have ever soon. Everyone did their part to do what was necessary to go into Morristown and get a blowout victory.
  9. The guy you are referring to was a former teammate of mine. He was 6'3" but he weighed in around 485. This is true. He was also a pretty good athlete. He ran the 40 yard dash in 6.0 seconds which is moving for someone carrying that kind of weight.
  10. Elizabethton did not beat greeneville in the 1998 regular season, but they did put them out in the third round of the playoffs. Greeneville actually won the regular season game at home for homecoming.
  11. This was an awesome display of running put on by Greeneville. In the second half, Cherokee stacked the box with nine or ten guys. Greeneville was able to run the ball up and down the field. It was an impressive performance by the tailback, fullback, and offensive linemen.
