Their is absolutely no place in high school sports for a person to be verbally abusive to another be it coach to player, parent to coach, fans to coach or players. With that being said there is a difference between soloing a player out to degrade his play or character with profane or abusive language versus using a very strong tone with some "get your attention words" to let a player know that his performance or attitude is not on coaches good list. Football is a physical and agressive sport, it is an in your face sport, it has no place for passive attitudes. You either respond to the nature of the game or you play gameboy at home with the other children who are never going to learn the concept of attitude determines altitude.

Please close this thread. The game is over and the talk still continues. Wasplayer you and your staff did a good job this year, now show that you are a class act, enjoy your winning season but stop the evaluations of the game and the refs.

Have to agree , don't know much about the relationship but its like Greeneville vs Chuckey Doak. Greeneville is in a no win situation. If they lose they are embarrassed and if they win it is because they are supposed to because they are a bigger school

Carter has a very balanced team. They execute well on offense and are very good upfront on D with some skill kids to spare. They are well on their way to a very good season. Coach woods and his staff are doing a great job thus far. Carter wins by 17.

The strength of the region has nothing to do with who goes to the playoffs. The top four teams from each region will advance based on how they performed in their region. Non region games only come into play as a third tie breaker within the region. 160 division 1 teams start the playoffs, therefore Tssaa gets revenue from 80 games. And there lies the truth.
