My question is when the kids start tranfering to private schools are you guys still going to support droping the transfer rule or is it only ok if they go from public to public? Just a thought for those who may want to drop the rule. It would also have to apply to going to private schools.

DCA is a good team, but I have seen both of them play this year and Boyd is much better. They have better and more depth than DCA which will play a major factor in this game. It will be close only because Boyd has been starting off slow. DCA is playing well in the playoffs so it should be interesting.

This shows your ignorance. I went to public school and involved now with a private school and ASSUMED the same as you. What I found is a private school where you have to play with what you are dealt. Yes, we do not have an area from which are kids have to be from, but just because they come from another school zone doesn't insure they are good athletes. The other thing is there is more pressure to play lesser athletes because the parents have paid money so they think there kid should automatically play. I am not saying that their are not privates that find ways around the recruiting rules, but I KNOW first hand that public schools do the same thing. If you check the other boards you hear about the larger schools recruiting anytime they are good. They are Public schools so it is ok? Private or Public they both do it, at least some do. Lastly, it would not benifit the small schools as much as you think to move all the privates to there own leagu. This is why, if you feel that they all recruit(which you do), if you move them to division two where they can give scholarships, you just lifted all the restrictions they are currently under. Then you better believe they will be recruiting. It has been said by many people, that you should always keep your friends close and your enemy closer. Just a thought!

You have problems if you are going to make statements like that. First of all, I doubt that all the refs in the state playoffs are from East and Middle TN. Second, because you do not like the fact that your team now has to earn a tournament spot, doesn't mean that everybody is out for West TN. Lastly, if the West was better maybe they would start winning some Championships. Nevermind, the refs cheat, the east cheats, middle cheats. Lets just give the Championship to the west because they are so miss treated. thumb

I think grace only lost 1 player from last years team. I think it was there big man Parson. Most of there team was sophomores last year.

Boyd will breeze through 1a playoffs. I have seen DCA, they are good, but they don't come close to the talent Boyd. I don't like Boyd, but they are the real deal.

CPA also beat Grace early in the season! Then when it counted what happened? If Temple would have played CPA in the tournament they would have beat them too.

Grace, Temple, and CCS are playing in a tournament with Unaka, CPA and a couple of other teams. Temple may lose at least once during that tournament. It will be fun watching some of the best teams in 1a play that weekend.
